Even Zardari is moaning that Gillani didn't get enough seats. 169 is not enough to win a no confidence vote.

No confidence will not be easy for opposition. They are likely to try it but it will be difficult to stop IK for getting new legislations through before that.

Same assembly gave 174 votes for PTI's technocrat seat. How can anybody vote for no confidence for PM seat?

Those who are talking about dissolving national assembly are actually playing in the hands of opposition. This is exactly what opposition wants. Where as PM can have the control back if he wins vote of confidence as more likely he will win since voting will be conducted than by show off hands.

There would have been vote of no confidence if PTI lost technocrat seat as well. As it didn't happen so no problem at all.

Instead of waiting for opposition to bring vote of no confidence, Imran Khan himself should bring a move of confidence in Parliment. If they take more time than ppp will able remove pti alliance one by one. Its better to get over this set back ASAP.

Islamabad seat is important because national assembly members voted for this not provincial ones. Losing seat from national assembly Parlimentarians has direct implications which means pti own members doesn't believe in prime minister choice. Moral authority matters that is why there is a process of vote of confidence which PM can opt while opposition can bring vote of no confidence.

PTI got 174 on technocrat. Hafeez Sheikh was not liked among pti members.

If opposition brings vote of confidence, it means they have bought 10+ members from govt alliance. In response govt should buy 20+ members of the opposition alliance and get the motion quashed. After all this is not democracy and parliamentarians are sold to the highest bidder.
