Senate body visits PAF headquarters
ISLAMABAD: The members of Senates Standing Committee on Defence and Defence Production were briefed on various aspects of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) during their visit to the Air Headquarters on Thursday.
A statement by PAF said the members were comprehensively briefed on all aspects of the air force, including air power potential and its significance in the overall defence of Pakistan. A detailed account of PAFs developmental plans was also presented, and PAFs contribution in the ongoing anti-terrorist operations in Swat and FATA was elaborately explained.
The briefing was followed by a question answer session. The briefing was chaired by Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, and included the chief of the air staff as well as all principal staff officers.
