Lately i have seen that whenever something like this happens, a few days latter the culprit is killed or captured. It seems our intelligence network has grown stronger and we are able to bring people to justice who are responsible for killing of Pakistanis. I just hope we can extend such operations into Afghanistan. There lies the head of the snake.

Thats not surprising. With the integrated intelligence system now inplace, which permits intel sharing at all levels, married to massive camera survilliance and bio-metric database for cellphone. Not to mention huge meta data capabilities.

Tom or Tahir Terrorist does something naughty somewhere. He leaves clues, like fingerprints on bombs residue, or pictures on CCTV. Compared with databases. Cross-reference with NADRA and phone database. Track them. Put a BOLO out. These guys are caught very quickly.

One of the reasons that terror incidents have gone down ois that perps are caught very quickly once they do something. The change in the situation has been that perps does something, he is caught.

Zarb-E-Azb and precursor Operations needed a lot of manpower, so if I had to guess its must be that the Army already has too much on its plate. Judging from the atmosphere, it seems like an operation is on the cards, but wont happen for some time.

Honestly, if Balochistan instituted KPK style reforms and incorporated well trained counter terrorism police they could probably deal with this rather easily, as these BLF terrorists seem to operate on a much smaller scale and seem to be easier to locate/arrest compared to other groups in the country.

When certain parts of the country are rife with well equipped, funded and determined anti Pakistan militias/ terrorists and agents why does Pakistan not reinstate the NCC? (If it has apologies). Pakistan needs to create a patriotic defence force made up of citizens selected and under the direct command of the army. Free from political, tribal, ethnic & religious motivations. Only inspired by the cause of defending Pakistan from all anti state personalities. I would call this force, Pakistan National Defence: Citizens Guard.

Yes, Pak needs to start by completly sealing the border with Iran and Afghanistan. It is clear the rats are able to access the country from any opening at the borders. The sooner Pakistan realises the better. Afghanistan is not a friendly neighbouring country but a hostile land with no government, occupied by foreign forces and in the control of various millitant/terrorists groups.
