You said those things whatever they are are hinges.
I said how can they be when they are a foot below.
You show picture of hinge attachment. Direct attachment of the fuselage to the canopy with a short L shaped hinge. I say on the picture....it's a direct attachment and show you on the 2nd picture that whatever it's is it can't be hinges and point to the gap of at least a foot.

I don't get why we are still talking about this????or how you are right and I am wrong

Solution to remove Hinges


Use Struts as used in opening trunk of car sold for $20-$30 in stores

Really surprised , these simple mechanical items were not used to open the Canopy glass




Alternatively a simple internal gadget could have been created by student engineers

However the best solution to lift the glass canopy is really just a simple Strut
The two black bars , which are pressurized , and you open your rear trunk they gracefully open up

It is not even that difficult a Pakistani car mechanic can install one for you

SS flight is fundamentally different from SubS flight. In SS flight turbulence becomes less of a hurdle than control of shockwave from leading edges & consequent acute BLayer seperation & post-shockwave stall. An intelligent solution was LERX without rectangular intakes. FC1 is therefore fundamentally different from FA-18 or F-22.

why they didnt use the canopy open design like F16or J10S?

The best rework really is a solution as in cars, which lifts the rear trunk , every thing is installed internally and nothing is visible on body on the outside

As stated before the two parts cost $20-$30 every thing else is just nuts and bolt installation

The trunk opens due to the two rods there is electricity or mechanical parts it is just pressurized part which extended once the trunk is unlocked the pressure in rod just lifts open the trunk

And the same concept should have been applied in the Canopy opening , pilot unlocks the Canopy lock the Canopy opens no hinges involved

the hinge is not in keeping with the performance of Jf17b, so they shall redo it.

this is.the number of CAC, shall call them to.change that absurd design. 0086-028-87405114

those engineers shall understand that fighter jet is work of art.

if i were the leader of CAC, the engineer respinsible for canopy design will be fired immediaiately.

always remember devil is in the detailes.

i dont know why PAF can accept those hinges, and let it fly.

The hinges are just a visual thing the performance of the plane is not really effected by the items

The real Item for JF17 Block III is the Engine + Avionics + Radar Upgarade

i'm a OCD, cant take anything like that. i want everything to be beautiful and perfect.

every detail will influence your customers decision.

When we look at the Quality on the Origional JF17 Block 1 we can see by the hinges are more visible to people
