this issue is not new, it was addressed before but India ignored it and has been doing so..

In this entire world history there are no agreements related to ground water AFAIK, then how will you address this issue with India instead improve your agriculture??

It is not a complain but an International issue whereby 1 country is ignorantly sucking water from the reserves of another...Dont know about you but that is stealing!

Why not raise this issue then, I see no problem here, Punjabi's in India want water and they are drilling in their own lands.

Were we effficient we would not have to import from you...But in addition to this inefficiency is what you lot are doing which is the MAIN ISSUE which YOU LOT are still avoiding!

Our Farmers want's water and they are drilling in their own lands. The only sustainable sources in India are Monsoons, very good agriculture land, Work force and will to get a better life

It is ok if people cry about terror attacks but complaining and whining with out doing your hard work is some what not good, I hope you understand my point.

It is always easy to point a finger at India rather than finding your own deficiencies and rectifying, you people are doing it consistently from partition onwards.


Regarding my view of world revolving around India, I have no objection or problem, If India can help Pakistan and its people, nor I am happy to steal Pakistani resources , I only wish peace and prosperity in South Asia

Your idea of inefficiency = ok to steal?

Our idea of inefficiency = improve irrigation...just few pages back someone was showing off hot you guys are more advanced in farming...but looks like stealing is also part of it!

He was of the view that only option left with Pakistan is to increase the crop yield per unit of land and per unit of water consumed.

Exactly .... One must work on their problems and then they have to look outside.

Another point is , the terrain in Pakistani punjab is situated at higher sea level than India punjab and it is natural phenomena for water to flow from high terrain to lower ones.
