Scientists say Indian farmers draining Pakistan’s waters

Its not just water, farming in the Indian Punjab is highly mechanized as compared to Pakistani Punjab. The average size of farmland is also bigger in the Indian Punjab.

Pakistani Punjab is primitive compared to the Indian Punjab.

Increased quantity does not equal to increased quality...Our grains and fruits are world class! :coffee:

.
Seriously are you deranged? "with industrialized farming, you pay the price of your reputation"?!. So every developed nation on the planet has got it wrong and Pakistan has got it wrong?

Don't delude yourself that Pakistan is intentionally such low volumes for some sort of quality control purposes. It is ONLY because Pakistan is using outdated and backward practices that lead to inefficiency and low productivity.

Being from a farming background myself, your condescending attitude gets you no points. Our farming techniques are backwards, yet our results yield us higher quality crops.

So, cry more?

. .
Have you ever tasted Indian veges and fruits? How can you say that?

Come to Europe and you will see the differences...Many of the Indian themselves prefer to purchase the Pakistani products over their own... :coffee:

. . .
Yes of course best in the world. Aren't you a research scholar? Never knew "best in the world" was a statistical measure.

Well lets just say I am more of geneticist whereby I know the genetic traits a crop has....Like I had said in previous thread rice, barley and wheat are 3 things I have worked on and have resources to...

Ok maybe I should have been specific better than Indian and European crops :P

Our rice is of better quality in many ways...our wheat is also the same and our barley is MORE nutritional then any in Asia and Europe....

Fruits are new to me but I am working on that...

That's an oxymoron if I ever heard one.. :)

Not at all...quality over quantity

. . .
Then why is this Pak professor raising a stink? :argh:

Let's check out what the truth is. The reasons why Pakistan is facing a water crisis are:

 Inefficient irrigation.
 Abysmal urban sanitation.
 Catastrophic environmental degradation.
Lack of water laws to define water rights.
Lack of a sound policy on large dams.
all these points are also true to India...if your irrigation was iffecient you guys wouldnt have to steal our water :woot:

.
Infact Pakistani loves Indian product even in Pakistan...they get them via Dubai...

.
Come to USA ...nobody buy Pakistani product....BTW are you trying to say that Europeans are eating Pakistani vegetables and fruits

No idiot....Pakistani shops does not supply that much....I talked about preferences! kindly do not twist my words!

Infact Pakistani loves Indian product even in Pakistan...they get them via Dubai...

There is no choice and there is love....when you steal our water to grow your products...we have no choice but to buy SOME...that is not love...that is forced!

Trend wise, Pakistan always seems to be having an excuse for not doing well.. more often than not, the excuse (lame as it may be) has some thing to do with India.. :)
