School van targeted by TTP in Swat

What a disgrace! I think we are unable to stop TTP. Full support has been given by the Afghan Taliban. Taliban backstabbed us. There will be more blood. i say join hands with India and destroy the Taliban once and for all. enough bullshit. Terrorism has destroyed our country. It destroyed our image. People in other countries read the news daily. Our passport has zero value. Now, these cowards are attacking our women and kids. I say destroy their stronghold. Yes, we have disagreements with India on the Kashmir issue but they are also willing to fight terrorism. Join hands. If we are unable to handle the Taliban, let India handle them. I say start with jihadi organizations. Gbu-16 is more than enough. Stupid country! people are dying, and kids are dying but nobody cares. Taliban is an extremist terrorist.

Cia knows who is funding these Taliban terrorists. Only one country is involved and this one country has established madrassa system both in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Saudia has helped us a lot but in return, they spread this extremist thinking. it's time to take action. Remember what lal masjid topi told Police "TAliban ko aane de". Take action. these kids aren't born in Pakistan for sacrifice. Salute to Musharraf! We need a full military operation against these terrorists. We must not live in fear. Pakitan isn't made for spreading saudi funded mindset. Go back to where you belong. Stupid terrorists!

TTP was a self-created boogeyman to make $$$ and look busy.

There was an audio interview Ehsanullah Ehsan on YT few weeks back about how he managed to 'escape'

Just like Karachi ke halaat, jo khud bakhud kharab honay lagtay hain... Phir achanak rangers ke deploy honay ke baad sahi hojatay hain.

This! Like I said in my earlier post, they have both a cover and overt support base and that includes those in the elite of our country, until that is addressed, this snake will rear its ugly head from time to time.
In 2000s majority of locals were supportive of TTP whether it was monetary or manpower but now a phone call to a local MPA or MNA is dialled and they receive millions in cash heck even our KPK CM has also paid them millions of Rupees in cash (rumour is that Mahmood khan's brother Ahmad Khan was contacted and they paid 100 millions)

Media makes a small thing overblown. There are only few incidents here and there. Nothing like when TTP had control over Swat. Media is crying wolf. Its almost middle of October with winter upon us. These TTP fight in spring.
They haven't taken control of Swat till now but people with businesses are getting calls to donate for the cause or else your family dies, atmosphere is all dull and gloomy and many poor are jobless now due to no tourism because of floods and now TTP and are perfect target for recruits just like it was before, dark clouds before the storm are as frightening as the storm

Just economy isn’t good enough either.
Libya, Syria and Iraq’s economy was strong and had development in mostly all areas.
In a country like Pakistan, we need more development and a proper narrative. We need a proper ideology as to why we should be united under a single flag. Pakistan is made up of many nations. We were told to unite for Islam but our country continues to flirt with secularism and kufr ideologies. Why should a Punjabi or Pashtun stay together in a country? What is the uniting factor? We need to answer this with our national ideology of us being united for Islam. We need to strengthen our narrative and purpose for existence. We need to return to Iqbal’s vision for Pakistan. We need to truly embrace Islam.
Only way to permanently defeat separatism in the country is by embracing Islam. No nation that makes up Pakistan would want to leave a country that’s united by Islam.

Ofcourse when you have been brainwashed to erase your identity, you are unable to look past the lens of faith based politics. Your experiment failed in Afghanistan, it doesn't work, it never works. Just look at the decline of Indian society with Hindu extremism.

Pakistan is an identity and an ideology in itself. Jinnah wanted a multi ethnic and multi religion state where everyone co exists and no one imposes on each other. He wanted variety, a melting pot.

Just remember Osama bin Dickhead is on the bottom of the ocean floor and Pakistan is still here.

I have noticed Pakistanis living abroad after a while develop a complex. They lose their Pakistani identity and become religious extremists. Its either that or they become whitewashed.

I have observed long enough to know Pakistanis living in Pakistan, from the decent families have a perfect mix of religion and culture and are the best version of Pakistanis.

heartbreaking .... who is allowing them to enter settlements again ????????
There was a time, some 75 years ago, when the public was stronger than the government and the law enforcers. Public used to make its own rules when allowing a hindu-filled train to cross the border unscathed or not, into India. Public is still strong but its gone corrupt to the core. The values of integrity and honor have become twisted as time passed. Now make anyone a scapegoat, be it government or Military or ministers of KPK - its the corrupt public which harbors soft corner towards enemies of Pakistan and its the same public which wants Pakistan to prosper - such hypocrisy leads to disaster. A minister cannot rule over public neither a general can command his troops, if there is no code of conduct whether its rules, religion, policy, law or whatever binds the public/troops to the Government.

Coming to your question, do you honestly think that terrorists striking within cities of Pakistan can carry out movement, construction of explosives, transport of weapons, etc without the help of locals - be it public, police, military or any other entity of the nation. No, they cannot. A simple guerilla war cannot be sustained without the help of the locals let alone won.

If you think that one fine day, TTP just walked into Pakistan without FC challenging them, and now all this is happening is how it happened - well it didn't like that. The extremism mindset has surged so deep down into Pakistani community since it was never weeded out in the first place, that its easy to recruit anyone for money, providing security or lodgings, other incentives and above all using religion to brainwash their minds.

The terrorists never left Pakistan in the first place. They amalgamated into the society, within populated cities too. How is this a military war then ? You can cleanse an area (e.g. FATA) through operations 10 times, but unless that extremism mindset is shredded and killed, there will be people who will keep taking place of dead terrorists and keep this war going against Pakistan. Have you looked at locations of IBOs conducted inside Pakistan, the locations are not mountains or caves or jungles or deserts, the locations are houses/dwellings inside towns and cities of Pakistan.

Should military bomb every city of Pakistan ? should military bomb every city of Baluchistan ? Are drone strikes the answer ?

How many madrassahs are there in Pakistan, have you ever calculated the total and then how many students are studying in them and what text is being regulated in those madrassahs. Say military kills 100 TTP, next month 100 more will arrive, and then 100 more, so from where are they coming ? Are all of them coming from Afghanistan ? Even if they come from Afghanistan under guises of businessmen or tradesmen getting Pakistani visas, who is harboring them and providing them shelter inside Pakistan, where they recruit more and grow in numbers ? and its not just TTP, its also BLF and other Baluch separatist elements. Do you know how and where BLF was formed ? It was formed outside Pakistan, not even in bordering countries of Pakistan. Then how come today its has surged deeply inside Pakistan and entrenched itself inside Pakistan ?

In a city like Karachi, its become so easy to travel to a place, plant an IED and walk away. This has happened many times. While you may look at swat, you should also look at other major cities of Pakistan too.

Now should military start operations in every city of Pakistan ? What will happen then ? Military has barricaded itself inside strong picket fences and enhanced security parameters. It will never be wise to start a full swing military operation in all pf Pakistan, this will be a war against Pakistanis themselves. Pakistanis who absorbed the extremist ideology of extremists.

Some Pakistanis are aligned with Iran, some with KSA, some with Afghanistan, but no Pakistani is aligned with Pakistan.

You remember the incident of burning that srilankan manager in Sialkot.

Where do you think those boys got their education from ? How did the mob mentality take over ?

They killed the manager in name of religion considering his act as blasphemy. Isn’t that extremism on the streets inside cities. Now those boys languish in prisons. It just happened within one day, a few hours, that’s all. It wasn’t planned, it was impulsive. Kill or die for the sake of religion but don’t follow it.

TTP is also using religion and religious education as a tool against Pakistan.

If the propaganda you're peddling against the people of Pakistan is true, then Pakistan would have already looked like Afghanistan or worse. The people of Pakistan keep surviving despite the infinite greed of certain sectors to keep power, who would rather see the country burn then give it up. But since it's our home, we don't want to watch it burn, we keep tolerating. Write a few more essays against the poor people of Pakistan.

TTP wasn’t self created it was created due to civilian casualties.

Mid 2000s will repeat this is exactly what happened before terror wave

Ofcourse when you have been brainwashed to erase your identity

Only viable identity after faith based is ethnic based. Pakistani is not an identity.
Just look at the decline of Indian society with Hindu extremism.

India and Bangladesh are starting to leave Pakistan in the dust .
Pakistan is an identity and an ideology in itself.

No it isn’t, it’s a nationality. Bengalis rejected Pakistani identity therefore Pakistani identity is not viable.
He wanted variety, a melting pot.

He wanted federalism he didn’t want cultural genocide
I have noticed Pakistanis living abroad after a while develop a complex. They lose their Pakistani identity and become religious extremists. Its either that or they become whitewashed.

That proves there’s no Pakistani identity in the first place.
