Though harassment of any kind is totally unacceptable but many a times the ground is prepared by the victims (male/female) themselves. In simple words it takes two hands to clap. So rather than sobbing and thinking of committing suicide later on, its better that U be careful with what U share and what U show to anyone else around U. But yeah there are also those victims who fall prey to a total disgusting fellow who ll follow them even to their graves to get what he wants from them. Yes those kind of vermin are mostly HE. on the contrary it boils my blood to like 100 deg Celcius to see a 13 year old complaining of a Bloody Broken Heart. I mean just...Come on, U have not even opened your eyes properly and here U are thinking of committing suicide bcz he/she had broken your heart....Dont know what world are we moving towards.
Ok folks, the purpose of sharing this video and information in this clip is, standing against harassment. Not only females are harassed online, but sometimes even males are harassed.
This might be indirectly related to the topic but I have few suggestions which I myself strictly follow when it comes to family photos and videos.
1. Never keep Family/Personal Photos and Videos in your mobile phone or even laptop as if U lose that gadget then for sure U have invited trouble yourself. I prefer storing such stuff in less mobile stuff like portable hard drive which are least connected with Internet. The level of care depends upon how much importance U attach to family/personal stuff.
2. Never sell a used phone/laptop as not only its deleted files can be restored by also your contacts etc even if U have formatted it like a thousand times.. U dont want such things to fall in wrong hands.
3. Rather than gifting memory card/flash drive to anyone if U dont need it, just break it and throw it away as same thing as mentioned in point 2 can happen with it.
4. Protect your devices with a suitable password (most of us do so).
5. Remember the IMEI No of your cell phone and get it blocked through PTA if lose your phone ever.
6. Keep your anti virus updated and keep running it on regular schedule.
7. Avoid using VPNs esp likes of HOTSPOT as esp the HOTSPOT is dubbed as "heaven for hackers".
8. If U notice that your child/any youngster is family is behaving oddly, take him/her into confidence and get to the bottom of the issue. U can still control the severe damage which lies ahead if he/she is not consoled properly.
There are many other points which members can add further to these.
