Well, garbage is a problem but first our economy should be better than we should have a garbage disposal authority so people have employment (like Toronto)

I mean if volunteers will clean all of the garbage than what about the employment one could generate.

Volunteers should help but should not do all of the job.

dude just change yourself... just promise yourself that you wont get involved in any level of corruption... we dont have to change the system we just need to change 'us' as a person.... we all are like small parts in a huge machine if everyone of us works with full loyalty the whole machine will start to work!!!

That should ease things down and you'll see a change impossible to achieve otherwise. Quite simply Pakistanis believe that solving disputes with India will solve all problems but the truth is, it is the root of all problems. Trying to find solution to disputes will just worsen the situation, and of course there is no solution.

Forget the problem exists and move on with your own developments.

Education is important.
Stop Brain Drain.
Intelligent people should join politics.
Start student political parties.

These are the basic steps that would help achieve major milestones.

And stop expecting whole Pakistan to suddenly change for good one day. Change yourself first regardless of what others are doing.

stop stealing electricity.
pay your dues and bills honestly.
pay tax.
stop corruption at your level

leave out that tension to the army.

General public need not boil their blood for something like this.
After all you also have 1000s of tank against India.

There is a difference of opinion in India and Pakistan. General people in India are not concerned about what army does and how it does so. They are not interested in political or diplomatic agendas.

They are more focused on riding the economic wave today which may or may not last forever.

General people in Pakistan has been under the influence of army for so long that now their thinking is similar to that of army.

They are keen on issues like Kashmir and Kargil, but when it comes to economic development, stop corruption, they are mum and I am sure while they boast loud for the army they steal electricity and evade taxes to run their homes.

This needs to change. There are different people to play different roles in the society. While the army play its role, the rest of the country needs to play its role too.

Democracy works in many places, but in Iraq it failed as it empowers one sect on another, in Afghanistan the winner lost to a loser because of fraud in election.

A Fact: for Pakistan Democracy means 20 hours of no electricity. US has given more aid to Dictators then Democracy in Pakistan.
I think Pakistani Democracy has been let down by US too. If US will give power plants to this democratic government it will be a big help to promote Democracy.

Time to overthrow the govt. LOL. Seriously why don't you turn it down if you know its no good. Get your children to join politics and start political parties in colleges.

This is required and decides the future of your country.

People never allow their children to join politics cause they want them to be doctors, engg, lawyers etc etc. That is shameful. And then they curse the govt for being corrupt. How can you expect the things to turn around on their own???

People are all looking at each other for someone to turn up and save the country like a superman but no one is ready to take the initiative.

That is your problem. All are armchair generals and politicians but no one daring enough to step into the real chair.

We have to be realistic!

India is a threat but jagjitnatt raised a very good point i.e. Leave the defence to army.

What does army need to protect us?
Money, talent , weapons etc

So, we will provide army everything by improving our economy. Civilians should care about education, good ruling system, justice, basic infrastructure and so on..
^^But the question is how can we achieve that goals (practically)

Should we start a new channel who will actively spread the message?
I do not support any political party or generali party!
They have proved again and again about their capabilities.
