No I put up questions and you haven't answered them. You claimed that "Wahhabis" are a sect yet you didn't prove it. You claimed they say everyone not "Wahhabi" is infidel. I dared you to bring me a text from one of Abdul-Wahhab's books that say that yet you didn't bring anything up.
You yourself deny they exist but it's reality wahabism currently is used in saudi arabia, I didn't claim I know of this Wahabism consider shia's and other muslims infidels. it's starting to see like more of a cult for the saudi political power now.
Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab (Muhammad ibn Abd al Wahhab) (1703 1792) the Arab theologian, who was from what is present day Saudi Arabia, was effective in bringing adverse changes to the culture and practice of the people of Islam. Changes that reduced their educational benefits, knowledge and the stature of the people.
Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab was considered by many of his followers as a reformer of Islam, and by his opponents as an innovator and heretic. He contended that his movement was an effort to return Muslims to what he believed were the principles of Islam. There were those who believed that he was pious scholar who called the people to worship Allah according to the Quran. Others regarded him as one who would stop at nothing to gain power and manipulate others.
Those who were against Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab saw him as awakening the cult of the Kharijites, the cult that had murdered Caliph Omar. The cult regarded ordinary Muslims as hypocrites and apostates who could be killed with immunity. In referring to the cult it was stated: They recite the Quran and consider it in their favor when it is against them. They transposed the Qurans verses meant to refer to unbelievers and make them refer to believers.
Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhabs intolerance and subversive teachings contributed to the destruction of the remaining vestiges of the Golden Years. He subverted the true religion of Islam by his deceptive edicts and teachings that violate Gods Commands. His teachings were eventually spread in Islam by force or arms.
The concepts and teachings of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab has similarities to those of the cult of Kharijites when it comes to life and death and teaching that which is contrary to the Quran. He advocated the position that all Muslims were disbelievers and had been so for 600 years. He taught that all unbelievers, which included Muslims who did not accept his teachings and Christians were to be put to death. He considered the existing governments as apostates and valid targets of Jihad.
Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhabs teachings were from a belief designated Tawhid.
Under Tawhid, any act that purports to make a rival to Allah prevents one from going to Paradise and condemns the person to the Fires of Hell.
Such provisions have had a very narrow and strict construction. Monuments on graves are a violation. Anyone who wears a charm violates Tawhid. Allah is the protector, it is contended that Allah will abandon a person who seeks protection from a Charm or shell. The same has been applied to wearing a necklace.
Knowledge such as determining the direction from the sun, stars, or moon is permissible. However, astrology that is deducing universe conditions from astronomical conditions violates the Tawhid.
Rain must be attributed to Allah. It cannot be attributed to other weather conditions. If it does, it violates Tawhid. The obligation is to attribute the rain and such other favors to Allah, who dispenses them to his worshipers.
Deeds in the world for the sake of humans are types of violations that leave nothing for the hereafter, except the fires of hell. Such deeds include those who seek life in the world and its glitter, the worship of gold or silver or the desire for unapproved garments.
Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab taught that all things that were new in Islam after the third century of the Muslim Era (about 900A.D) were spurious and must be wiped out. To him the great advances that Allah had provided for Islam were to be done away with.
Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab caused the ancient domes that were constructed above the graves of the Prophet Muhammad and his close friends and family to be demolished and the sites covered over. He preached against practices such as celebrating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad and visiting the graves of the Prophets close companions as innovations that were contrary to the worship of the one God, Allah. He declared trees to be religiously objectionable. He destroyed a tree that was beloved by the people. According to him, appreciation of a trees beauty could lead to apostasy (abandonment of a belief).
Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhabs campaign of vociferous preaching angered the residents of the Town of Huraimila, in which he resided. He was evicted from Huraimila and fled to his familys holdings in Al Uyayna. While in Al Uyayna he dragged a woman, accused of adultery, out into a public square and stoned her to death.
Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhabs stoning was a violation of the teachings of the Quran. Stoning could not take place unless there was a trial where four (4) witnesses testified to the adultery. There was no testimony. The reaction to his behavior resulted in his being expelled from Al Uyayna.
In viewing both his actions and teachings it becomes clear that Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab either did not understand or did not care about the difference between honouring and worshiping. He violated the Quran and Gods Commands, without concern. His actions show him as an opportunist who put himself above both the Quran and God.
Being cast out made him an outcast with whom it was shameful to either marry or befriend. Having had two expulsions made his position even more precarious. Normally, under such circumstances his teachings would come to an end. Fate provided him with a future that would propel him and his theories to great notoriety.
After his expulsion from Al Uyayna, Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab was invited to neighboring Al Dirriya by its ruler, Muhammad Ibn Saud. Muhammad ibn Saud and Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab became allies and entered into a pact that was beneficial to both.
Muhammad ibn Saud would implement Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhabs teachings and enforce them. Muhammad ibn Saud and his family would become temporal leaders of the movement. The Saud clan was then able to cloak its military ambitions in religion. They then had an ideological pretext to attack other Muslims. Other Muslim towns became licit targets as under the Wahhab deceptive teaching they were Polytheists, non believers. Those that Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab taught became known as Wahhabis even though he insisted his followers call themselves Al - Muwahhidun. The Wahhabis were protected by the recognition and expansions of their religion. They profited by receiving the spoils of war. Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab dispatched thirty emissaries to Mecca to request permission to perform a pilgrimage. The Judges of four officials Sunni schools of Islam heard the emissaries petition and rejected it. The judges accused Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab of being a deviant and forbade his followers from performing the annual Haji.
The Chief Mufti was so incensed, he wrote a book denouncing Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhabs teachings. The Amir of Meca, Shrif Masud ibn Said, ordered the followers of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab to be arrested. The incident became a compelling incentive for the Saud-Wahhab alliance to capture and take control of the Holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
During the next half a century the Saud- Wahhabi alliance defeated their opponents and took control of the Holy cities of Mecca and Medina and eventually the majority of the Peninsula. The Wahhabis made good soldiers. They had no fear of death. Some even welcomed it.
Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab promised that the soldiers that fell in battle would have immediate entrance into Paradise. The virgin girls and easy life for eternity would be awaiting them in paradise. It was made to appear that those who died in battle would be better off than those who did not.
The Sauds were served well in that tight control of the populous was maintained. The concept of democracy or the truth of their religion did not exist and there was little education. The discovery of oil in the conquered lands brought the Sauds great wealth. Tripling the cost of oil in the mid 70s provided funds for the Wahhabis expansions that spread their religion to other parts of the world. During the last 30 years, many Wahhabi Mosques have been built in countries around the world. A number have been established in the United States.
Wahhabism is now a world-wide problem. It consists of millions of members around the world that have been denied the truth of their religion and taught to hate. Most of the suicide bombers that were employed in Iraq came from Saudi Arabia. Due to Wahhabi teachings members are easy to convert to suicide bombers. Wahhabist books teach that Muslims should absolutely reject any non- Muslims practices including political ones.
The Wahhabis have used the riches from oil to suppress the moderate members of Islam. Contrary to the Commands of God, they condemn the Shiite and other non-Wahhabi Muslims, as infidels.
Neither the Wahhabis, nor the fundamentalists do anything of substance to advance the people of Islam. They suppress them. Both the Wahhabis and Fundamentalists are extremists such as the Prophet Muhammad warned against. They both defile a beautiful religion and prevent Islam from ascending to and surpassing the heights it had obtained during the Golden Years.
The Al-Queda differs substantially from the Wahhabis. However, Wahhabi members can be fodder that serves Al-Quedas purpose. Due to the nature of their teachings, individual Wahhabis are such that they can be converted to serve Al-Queda.
The extremists and fundamentalists take the position that democracy must be eradicated because it is contrary to Sharia (Islamic Law). In their attempt to eradicate democracy and establish Sharia, they have caused great carnage in Ethiopia, formerly Abyssinia, where both Christianity and Judaism are still followed, Christian Abyssinia being the country that first gave sanctuary and protection to persecuted Muslims.
The Taliban in Afghanistan, under the rule of Mullah Omar, demonstrated the backward, cruel and unjust conditions that can exist under strict interpretation of Islamic Law. The Taliban is a combination of Wahhabi Orthodoxy and tribal customs.
Public executions and floggings were regular events in the soccer stadiums. Movies, television, music, and the Internet are banned.
Women are treated as though they have no importance other than bearing children. The all-covering Birka is mandatory. Women are whipped in public for having un-covered ankles. Women caught wearing finger nail polish are subject to having their fingers tips cut off.
Girls are forbidden to go to school. Women are banned from working outside the home. Women are prohibited from leaving the home without a male relative. Women are stoned to death for having sex outside of marriage. There are a multitude of other prohibitions against women.
Islamic law, Sharia, has no support in the true Quran. It serves as a means of subjugating women to male dominance and a means of perpetuating harsh punishment induced during the middle ages and continued by fanatics who have no concept of justice. It is a tool for those with a lust for power. Subjugating women to such control and deprivation of rights is considered a major reason why Islam has been unable to return to the glory of its Golden Years.
Mullah Omar himself has violated the words of Allah. He is an extremist that the Prophet Mohammad warned against. As such Mullah Omar has reduce himself to an infidel. He does not serve Allah.
The laws of Islam that are urged in these strict interpretations are contrary to the teachings of the Quran.
Those who formulate their own rules about who are believers and who are not violate the Quran. Extremists abide by their own rules and misinterpret the Quran to justify their killings. The Quran sets forth those who are believers and includes as believers all those who believe in the one God Allah, and no other.
If they so believe, they are believers whether they are Muslims, Jews or Christians.
The cardinal sin that is set forth in the Quran is to kill a believer. Such a killer is confined to hell for eternity and is subject to the special torments designed by God. Suicide bombers are solicited with the representation that they will be martyrs and go directly to Paradise. They will not be martyrs, as they have violated the Quran. They cannot go to Paradise because the Quran states they must go to the Fires of Hell for eternity.
God determines who goes to hell and who goes to Paradise, not some Imam, Mullah or other member of the clergy. Such a determination is not made until the Day of Resurrection. Suicide is also a sin that prevents one from going to Paradise. Suicide bombers and those who solicit them to become suicide bombers, including the clerics, will all go to the Fires of Hell. They are excluded from Paradise by the Quran.
