Saudi FM visiting Pakistan on Thursday, sources claim

Up till recently, China was nowhere near American aid. Infact, most of Cpec is not aid but investment and loans(nothing wrong with it though).

I think its unfair when you expect China to invest in Pakistan in the 80s - early 2000s when China is just a poor country. In the 2010 onwards, China qualify as rich and we have enough national reserves. Its no coincidence China started using the wealth the help others nearby. As for the so called investment, we are taking a big risk on Pakistan when security and economy situation in Pakistan is not so good. This risk is bent on helping Pakistan and regional area to restore peace and development. There is no gurantee return. Especially its such a big sum. Ask yourself, why nobody come to Pakistan to invest so much if opportunity is good? We are doing you a favour based on friendship by taking risk on our side.

Even though I'm not a fan of PM Imran Khan and his Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf party, it was extremely disrespectful of how Saudi Arabia has treated the Prime Minister of a 207 million people.

Pakistan has been fighting a perpetual war for its own existence since its independence against a much larger foe and it's looking to change the route of its trajectory which is looking more and more heading towards a dead end. Here, we have Saudi Arabia trying to prevent Pakistan from mastering it's own destiny and blatantly interfering with the direction Pakistan is trying to go.

Thank you for the dollars, deferred payments, charity and jobs for 2.6 million Pakistanis as well as allowing billions of dollars in remittances to flow to Pakistan. However, Saudi Arabia must also remember the UK is home to 1.2 million Pakistanis (according to 2011 census) but the non-Muslim UK has never insulted and disrespected Pakistan like this.

Just for the sake of the Custodian of the Two Holy Masaajid, Pakistan is not buying oil and gas whether on loans or deferred payments from its neighbour Iran which has never interfered in Pakistan in anyway. Just don't forget that.

Good that you finally see this. Pakistanis need to wake up from this dream. Neither KSA nor Iran are our friends.

Saudis only care about money and who they can keep on a leash, last true king of Saudi was King Faisal, after him, its Jahil in, Jahil out.

We'll wait though, when their oil finally runs out and the whole Muslim world has abandoned them, we will wait for them to come to us when their "friends" no longer care about them, we will not go to them, nor will we offer them any aide until they ask for it, and only then will we aide them, after they've been humiliated and humbled.

Great post brother, as always. Allah barak feek.

they have money, but the like woman and India, US and Israel providing them, Kings, princes to keep them as slaves.

Money became their prison and like prize horses, they have no choice but to run on the dictates of their masters. If they get any idea to become free, they will be brutally killed.

Their master will dismember them anyways though, we Pakistanis already know the mentality of their master from WoT.

At least they lend you money when Pakistan economy is near collapse. Did Turkey even lend Pakistan a single cent for its economy?

What has Turkey did for Pakistan Kashmir so far? Did it bomb India for Pakistan Kashmir or the sake of Pakistan?

So far its all lips service by Turkey which any small countries can also do it without burning a hole in their pocket or loses a single man. All talk and no action.

Please stay out of our affairs, we know you hate Turkey, but for us Pakistanis, Turkey is our blood brother and our spiritual twin. We will fight any enemy for them. We know they would reciprocate.

As for the so called investment, we are taking a big risk on Pakistan when security and economy situation in Pakistan is not so good. This risk is bent on helping Pakistan and regional area to restore peace and development.

Well it is good for us that you are not making these decisions. I don't think China really has a choice or alternative.

I am just given u a reminder not to be make use by others for their pan Turkish Islamic ambitions. So far I have seen nothing concrete done by turkey for Pakistan and people are taken a ride by such action.

Lips service don't burn any money and they don't kill as not a single soldiers are risk for others. And that is what only turkey can do for Pakistan. Anything beyond that I doubt turkey will go further. Take this so called brotherhood with a punch of salt.

Ask yourselves why Turkey didn't step in to help Pakistan financially despite their economy bigger than Saudi?

All turkey do to try get more deal from military to earn hard cash from Pakistan by working alot to clinch Pakistan military tender.

My initial intention was to make a point about respect. China and aid/investment was just an example.

But since we are on it, so let's hear out some points regarding cpec.
- I am not blaming China for not investing earlier. All I am saying is that US helped us a lot when China was not capable.
- Now that China has money, it needs to expand its business and expanding is what China is doing, not just in Pakistan but in many countries.
- There is no risk. For example, China building power plants in Pakistan is guaranteed return on investment. The same plants that China is building in other countries too. There is no special favour to Pakistan just like there is no special favour to any other country where china is investing.
- Unless we talk about Gwader. Yes, it benefits us but more than us it benefits you. You need to get rid of your small scale industries and some other countries are right candidates for them based on productss final destination. Pakistan in this case is a natural choice for middle east and africa since India is your rival.
- Also, it covers the logistics cost and paranoia about Malacca strait etc.
- It's a win win scenario for both China and Pak and I appreciate it.

Just don't say that it's a favour to us. Your real favour has always been your military and diplomatic support and non interference policy for which I am thankful, much more than investments.

I think you are mistaken that any investment is guaranteed return. The power station investment involved risk. We cant overcharge Pakistanis the rate just to get back our return in short time. Sometimes we even need to calculate with no return before even break.

Ask yourself this simple question. So far has we push Pakistan for return even you failed to meet the repayment dateline?

China will according to friendship do what is necessary to help partners that Included write off or no Interest return for a period of time.

I agree with you 100%, i am not one of those who are fan of Pak Turkish brotherhood propaganda, we just started to buy Turkish arms bcoz they are offering some Good TOT and have western subsystems in their equipment. If it was Kemalist party in Turkey, things would have been totally different, same goes for Malaysia, if there was Najeeb Razak instead of Dr. Mahathir, Malaysian PM would even never visit Pakistan, let alone worrying about Muslim world.

But having said this does not mean that we should stop calling Saudi dogs out for their recent role and interference in Pakistani affairs.

.
I agree 100%, would prefer if Turkey and whoever the **** else to butt out if it. Uighyur is not a Ummah problem either, it is a Turkic problem.
What **** you're talking about,Uighyur problem is not a Turkish problem but a Chinese problem, only for Arab world there was only a philistine issue you had and why you're (GCC) only the true Muslim countries and Ummah has a only one issue, you're the one of the most lazy and dependent countries of the world most of your oil companies operator/executives/owners are western countries you're the slaves of USA/West

Brother, you completely missed my point. My entire point was to say that you cannot buy respect with money. Respect comes from open support and non interference.

Here, let me remind you again:
Your real favour has always been your military and diplomatic support and non interference policy for which I am thankful, much more than investments.

Have a good day :-)

You have your right to question saudi but to call others as dog when lending you money in need of times is uncalled for. Pakistanis has the right to reject that loan too, right? But it didnt... Isnt it?

Is takes 2 hands to clap.

anyone who interfere in Pakistani affairs is worst then animal no matter what. If Chinese interfere in Pakistani affair i will do the same, why do you think Pakistani are so anti US despite them giving us $33 billion aid, military goodies for almost 50 years?

I agree but why didnt Pakistan reject the loan in the first place? They didnt force Pakistan to take the loan.

We should reject any such loan in future, i think we didnt sign anything which says Saudi dogs can use that money to blackmail Pakistani state, but after seeing their act, i really regret, we should have gone for China instead.

Beggars aren't choosers. We need to get rid of this begging mentality once and for all.
I mean, we are in such a mess that countries investing in Pakistan is termed as Aid nowadays. Sad state of affairs.
