ISLAMABAD: Chief of Royal Saudi Army Lt. Gen. Saleh Al-Mahia, who arrived in Rawalpindi on Tuesday will hold talks with Pakistan Army chief Gen. Ashfaque Pervez Kayani on Wednesday, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations Maj. Gen. Atthar Abbas told Arab News.

Abbas said, "Lt. Gen. Saleh Al-Mahia arrived in Rawalpindi today (Tuesday) to meet his Pakistani counterpart Gen. Kayani to discuss issues of mutual interest. Pakistan Army and the Saudi armies are closely linked and carry out joint military exercises on routine basis. Lately, the armed forces of the two brotherly nations held joint military exercises Al-Samsam-1 in Bahawalpu and Al-Samsam 11in Saudi Arabia.

Great news.
First we has Air Force excercises with Turkey, now we are having Naval excercises and Infantary excercise soon to come with Saudis.

Also JF-17 Block II to be revealed by the end of the month.

I, personally, name this month as 'Military March'

. .
Its not only good, but also for Saudi Troops.
They actually are getting their troops trained.

Now a days, trust me cause I am living in KSA for 14 years, the Saudis have turned arrogant and are discriminating you if you are a Non-Saudi, espicially a Bharti. They also tend to take Pakistanis as Bhartis and tease them. Thats not only it, even the government has passed laws which do not satisfy and are pointing against expats.

And when it is for their cause, they bring in the word 'Brotherhood' with Pakistan.
Sorry if I may sound harsh, but this is the truth now a days.

. .
I dont think so.
He must be there for the Military Operations.

What will he do for Davis?
Did the US secretly sent him a message to talk to Pakistan?

.
I am pretty sure he is here mostly for the case of raymond davis.....
All eyes on Saudi role in resolving Davis row

Saudis are not in shape to help USA in this regard as they are not in contact with Pakistan anymore the way they used to be 10 years back.

As things are in court of law all parties need to stay cool and see the outcome from court only any such things were not agreed by Nation and will revolt against it, so Saudi knows they need to play cards carefully now.....

.
I doubt the US secretly sent him with a message but I do think that saudi arabia wants normalization in the relations of two of its biggest allies and the USA will only be willing to do that on the condition of raymonds release...

.
JFT 2nd block to be revealed?

from where you got this news?

. . . .
Good news... and btw please stop bringing this stupid guy daivis in every topic and story its nothing to do with this story.

Having lived in Saudi Arabia for 16 yrs before moving to dubai, i can understand what you are trying to say. This current deal with the govt. is because of fear of what is happening in the arab countries around KSA. They are trying to make their people happy to counter the wave of revolution.
