Not pakistan. Pakistan's missile tech is superior to that of Iran as per my assessment.
Then again, Iran could launch 50-100 kg satellite payload in space indigenously. While pakistan had to take China's help. Who knows what capability Iran truly has. But from what I see as per official statistics, pakistan's is superior in terms of both range and accuracy.
I agree with you that Iran's space launch capabilities are superior to any in the region, including Pakistan, however Pakistan has no space launch capabilities since the resources of the Pakistani space program were diverted to Missile program for military use.
Yes Pakistan did receive some Chinese assistance in launching our satellite in April of 2011 as well as for our Missile program in the 1970's-80's (i believe the assistance started in late 70's) just as Iran too received assistance from NK and China in the later decades, however Pakistan built upon the missile technology and improved it's accuracy, evasive features, as well as range and improved fuel to make it much more easier to maintain and store these missiles, not to mention the increased payload of the warhead and MIRV's.
Iran holds the edge in space launch capability while Pakistan holds the edge in Missile delivery systems for Military purpose.
Iran and Pakistan are very close to each other in missile capabilities, and both countries definitely do not show everything they produce to the public. My guess would be that Iran would be ahead at this time because Pakistan's government, as many Pakistanis admit, is mostly incompetent and involved in huge corruption with no steady plans for the future. This is quite different from the strong Iranian regime which has established itself deeply through various means in Iranian society. That's not to say the Iranian gov't is just, righteous or perfect (it is not), but it is far better than any Western puppet gov't.
Yes, Pakistan's government is corrupt and inept, but they don't have any control over our Missile program or our nu--clear program, which is why it is the fastest growing in the world.
The recent launch of Shaheen-1A included various upgrades to guidance, increase in range, ABM counter measures/evasive maneuvers, improved fuel along with a few more upgrades. The same is the case with our other Missile platforms like the NASR, Babur, RA'AD.
