Saudi Arabia is set to receive 2 Eurofighter Typhoon Fighter Aircrafts Today, Typhoons number 1016 and 1018:
The RSAF bought 72 of these.Typhoon is a real beauty, how many of these does the RSAF has
Nice pictures, where are they taking off from?

They were taken yesterday at Warton, they are currently on their way to KSA.
72 with an option of 72 more. For which 40 was exercised but still talks on prices have stalled the signing of that deal.
& is SA getting any Industrial Benefits from this deal
At first the Jets were to be made and assembled locally however we have only one company capable of doing this and it is 50% owned by Boeing so Boeing refused the order and instead offered to carry out manufacturing and assembling of F-15SA locally which we took.
AEC however is a Middle Eastern Technological Military Giant, it got rights that made it equivalent for KSA to tinker with the Typhoon as any partner nation does, for which I created a thread a while ago here:
Saudi Arabia Becomes Full Partner Nation in the Typhoon Program
Great news for RSA,this new king of yours is surely ensuring that KSA becomes less & less dependent on OIL
