Later he also claimed that Ismael and Hajar came to city of Mecca and Zamzam appeared at that time.

But contrary to Prophet Muhammad, the Quraish had no idea of Ismael of Hajar ever coming to Mecca, and also they never attributed Zamzam to Hajar and Ismael, and they never attributed any Haj Rituals to Hajar and Ismael, not even Safa and Marwa.

BTW there are many claims of the real Mount Sinai being located in neighboring Hijaz.

This was the biggest problem between the Arabs of SA and the Ottomans, The Arabs wanted just Twhid and sunna while the later allowed prayers to saints and visits to tombs to ask favours, which was perceived by the Arabs as Shirk and saw that as superstition..
