The strange thing is, the Saudi king just hours ago, had ordered Saudis military to start a ground invasion of Yemen: Saudi Arabia King Salman orders National Guard to join Yemen campaign against Iranian-backed Houthi rebels - CBS News

Then the news comes out that, the Saudis have accepted unconditional defeat and leaving Houthis in charge of Yemen.

It appears, Saudi military has refused to join ground operation in a mutiny. So much so for their "bravery".

After Pakistan said NO, the Saudis had no choice but accept defeat.

You remember when Houthi were about to take over Yemen you were jumping up and down in amazement and joy. When Saudi launch the air campaign you were like oh that was a trap installed by Iran and when we bombed the Houthis, destroy almost everything they have you were like hey they are killing children and silently retreated. Not only that but you ran to Russia for anti-aircraft system fearing that the collation might turn into you.

Saudis have been soundly defeated. The whole objective of Saudi war was to dislodge Houthis. And Saudis failed. Jordanians and Egyptians failed to provide troops to go into Yemen. Pakistanis said NO. And Saudis were too coward to do it themselves.

No dear, the Houthis have doing exactly nothing they haven't already been doing. Saudi Arabia probebly ran out of guided bombs, and Obama pushed them to stop the raids. Look it up on google news, filled with articles about the US pushing them to quit. All those idiots have achieved is being Al Qaida's airforce, and nothing more. Not ONE inch of Houthi territory has been regained. Well, that's Saudi competence for you.

A new operation would be called Restoring Hope, focusing on a political solution in Yemen and on security and counter-terrorism at home.
