Its funny because indians boast of their "biggest democracy in the world" and bash those "evil," undemocratic Muslim countries while you will find large numbers of indians earning and making a living in those countries, just goes to show the hypocrisy of indians.
Funny because just yesterday on a thread about "india developing strategic relations with Saudi" indians were boasting about how they will isolate Pakistan and cut of its support for the Kashmir cause by influencing the Saudis to stay neutral in case of Pakistan-India conflict/war and now here Bharatis are threatening to bomb Saudi Arabia, you guys really do overestimate yourselves .

I think people don't understand the meaning of the word amnesty.
If you overstay illegally, you can be fined and imprisoned as well. Instead the Saudi govt. gave a general amnesty to those Indians who were ILLEGALLY staying here. This is a positive thing because they didn't have to pay any fines, nor spend any jail time in accordance with Saudi laws for illegal overstayers.
There are currently 2.5 million Indian expats working in various capacities so 50,000 illegals is not that big when compared to the overall size of the Indian expat population which also happens to be the largest.
Indians are one of biggest sucurity threat to Saudi arabia, Saudis are not realizing it but sooner or later they will have to catch up to reality.
There were 1.5 million (not 2.5 million) Indian expats in Saudi Arabia in 2009, & 1.2 million Pakistani expats. Let's see if the Saudis extend any more of their amnesty to Indian expats by deporting another 50,000 of them anytime soon.
We face this problem of illegal workers who some of them resort to crime that it became epidemic sort to speak.
People wonder why a large number of South Asians are in jail and think it is part of Gulf cruelty when in fact most crimes are committed by them. Most Drug trafficking Alcohol trafficking prostitution etc. are opened and run by Indians and Bangladeshis.

Next time some one tries to complain about racism in the UK or the West, I'll show 'em that video.
