Damn, look at the controversy and uproar about his kidnapping.

Look at the immediate action taken by our government to save his ***.

Where was this "action" when Karachi required it the most? Where was the urgency? Is the life of Salman Taseer's son more worth then the life of 100+ Karachiites who lost their lives in this senseless violence?

(I do not approve of Shahbaz Taseer's kidnapping, it's no better then what happens in Karachi for example. But the magnitute and force in which our government had replied to his kidnapping is huge compared to how the GoP had acted on the Karachi killings.)

Taseer.. for his personality flaws.. stood up for something right.. in an incorrect manner.
His arrogant comments.. cheap shots at Mullahs(reported) and intoxicated critique of Islam was bound to land him dead..and his killer a hero to the ignorant masses.

he could have taken up the case with respect.. he could have worked quietly on having the law amended.
instead his boorish attitude landed him with a magazine full of 9mm's.
Each and every one of his guards wanted him dead.. only one did so.. and no one stopped him till he emptied his last shell.
Just standing up for a woman doesnt land you that much hate, he was making on and off statements that would have irked his guards, and when it comes to Islam and our Prophet, even I have to admit that an initial cataract falls over my judgement on what has been said and why till one calms down to think.

i cant understand one thing, is there too many contradictions in islam or we muslims dont understand it, some people say if the prophet is insulted, the person should be KILLED, while prophet himself forgave the woman who poured rubbish on him. and if you see the differences between different Mazahib, you wonder what is wrong?

This is the issue . There are so many different interpretation of islam that it is confusing . i don't understand how there can so many interpretation of one book .

some msulims say Quran asks muslims never to trust non-muslims and kill an idolator etc whereas others say quran talks about peace towards non-muslims .

So all lawyers who fight case in court on behalf of blasphamers are liable for death?

Even if yes, who will be authority to award punishment? Any aira ghaira nathoo khaira?

Why don't you report the other poor people kidnapped by the political parties and bloodthirsty thugs, for personal gain?!
If I come and report you of a person I caught in my home, for attempted kidnapping, who is alleged with 100 kidnapping crimes, you just send a police officer and his two policemen.
