RIP Legend, You brought in a name for us, When the time required you, You gave the best of yourself, Earning an international respect and Brough in respect from even our adversaries and Gulf Air Forces.

May Allah Give you wings to Fly in the Heaven Just like Jafar (RA)...

Salutes......an honor for PAF and Pakistan to have such a hero belong to them......

moreover, it always was, and it will always remain, an honor for me to narrate his exploits to everyone....
Exploits ?

ALLAH SWT marhoom ki maghfirat farmaye aur darjaat bulund farmaye.

We have lost a true legend and an ace between both of our countries.

We were truly lucky to have him live among us until now as an inspiration to both air forces.

Inna Lillahey wa Inna Ilaihey Raji'un.

May Allah grant him Jannah and eternal peace.

Unfortunately , Group Captain Azam fell out of grace in BAF in 1977 following a bizzare botched coup initiated by the air force. A tragedy indeed. He quietly retired two years later. However, his younger brother Air Vice Marshall Fakhrul Azam decades later became the air force chief in BD.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

May Allah grant him highest rank in Jannat-al-Firdous

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Inna Lillahi ve Inna Ilahi Rajeun..

For a reason the accomplished ex PAF pilots were specifically picked out in BD...
