S-400 drew first blood

.
The S-400 like the S-300 before them and almost every Russian military equipment were overhyped. I am not surprised to see them being dismantled. Remember, these are not the export versions but the version the Russian military uses.

This is Ukraine’s SU-30MKI moment when supposed untouchable Russian weapon was taken out with ease.

As per them, they claimed that the moment our aircrafts will take-off from our airspace they can shoot them down deep inside our territory with S-400. For them S-400 wasn't any less than the Zeus' Thunderbolt.

Yes,but it was turned off. It's not as if the system failed to intercept a missile or something. Still....I don't know what Russians are thinking. They look like amateurs with this war.

I would say the blame (or credit when it's the other way around) goes more the the man behind the machine, which is why I referenced indians, (esp the IAF) While the russians war machines may not be as good as they advertise them to be, russian military has performed similar to this, which makes me think this soldier wasn't a bad soldier. but that was as good as his training got :lol:

its good to kill it before its act sir its same aas shoting jets parked on apron or moving on ground . i think its deserve more respect .

Well, there are no freebie in war.

If they are forward deployed and it was turn off, it's actually worse than the system itself is incompetent.

It's like I am saying My F-22 got shot down because I don't bother to move it away from runway. You can have the most state of the art equipment and it may fail once or twice, that's normal, but if you let a bunch of incompetent people in charge of those equipment, then they will fail EVERYTIME.

Last I heard, Russian communications weren't very secure either. They probably were just listening to the radio and struck while the battery was on the move.

It looks like it was hit while on the move.


Even if it was fully deployed, things can get through. No system is perfect, nothing is invincible. I'm surprised there has never been one destroyed before.
