I dont know what they called them, but they are filled with explosives. When RPG hits it, it gets counter blasted and dilutes the effect of RPG.

Tank already have tanget body with armour which protects tanks. But for treads they require this type protection. If you are a terrorist it would be difficult for you to aim at upper hull therefore you will target their wheels.............and dats y javelin got invented

Other countries need to learn and start investing in drone technology. Its drones that are saving and protecting US soldiers in afg.
