I like this one, looks deathly. Which Frigate is this? Is it a new type in the Russian Navy?

It's Admiral Gorskhov. It should have been ready back in 2011 or so, but it has been delayed a lot. The Russian Navy wanted between 10 and 15 of these by 2015 - and 20 by the year 2020. Those where the projections a few years back, but it took a while until this first frigate was sorted out.

I am glad it finally is ready for sea trials, so that's very good. Although number of these frigates won't be higher than 8 by 2020.

It will be armed with 16 missiles such as Kalibr or Oniks - both having range of 300 kilometers.

Then there is 32-cell VLS for SAM defence. Range is somewhere between 100 - 120 kilometers, I think.
