Russian Army to hold first mountain drills with Pakistan in 2016

With the introduction of CPEC, Pakistan is firmly rooted in the China-centric alliance. While India is being groomed by the US to contain China.
India can not progress without help from US while Pakistan can not without China.
That leaves Russia, which is flirting both with India and Pakistan. But sooner rather than latter they have to decide which way to go.

Russia is firmly behind China.

India's economy is dependent on the west hence India does not have much choice than to move towards the west.

I would say the same goes for Russia. Today Russian economy is dependent on China and Chinese on Russia.

The Indian situation is slightly different. India needs the West for it's economic development and stability, but the West doesn't need Indian market as much. They need India more to make trouble for China, but that's not in India's best interest.

NWO is imminent but the power struggle is on how each country joins that order.

NWO would take at least another 15 years. The first step is to form regional groups with common currencies and then merge them at global level. It would only get worse before it gets better. The sooner we have the NWO implemented the better for the world at large.

what i meant by my comment is that Russia was always there to have healthy and cooperative relations with Pakistan but we ignored her in favor of West.. we have good relations with USSR in 50's but then we sign SEATO and CENTO, and give military bases to US to spy on USSR and in 60's relations went down.. in 70's then prime minister's efforts made very good development with USSR but Zia ruined everything and start war on USSR and USSR was dissolved but her successor(RUSSIA) tend to mend ties with Benazir and even offers to sell Su-27 to Pak but that was a game which we were playing with them in 90's to create mistrust between India and Russia..

USSR also was a friend and they did offer many things to Pakistan but the issue was it wanted to reach the warm waters and the plan was not just made by the Soviets but also by the Indians who wanted to wipe off Pakistan in the early days. Fortunately at that time USSR was not intending to open to many fronts but was only considering to take one country at a time. An other important factor that was not considered by the Russians was that the Afghans are prone to fight unlike the Europeans who offered limited resistance in central Europe and the Baltic.

Pakistan on the other hand knew they did not want to make a war with a super power but also wanted to show that they can defend their home land when it comes to fighting. PAF did not enter Afghanistan to shoot down Russian Aircraft or Soviet Army. India was also worried once USA sent the F-16's that were ordered by Pakistan and what if Pakistan become a NATO member. This would have really made India an enemy not just of China but also the other NATO members. SEATO and CENTO were nothing as compared to NATO and the Russians knew Pakistan can still be taken but the Afghanistan had to be taken first which never happened.

China and the members of CENTO and METO were not a problem for the USSR. How ever SEATO had USA as a member which was a problem.
Now these became a bargaining chip between the the Two Super Powers. By the 80's both these alliance no longer existed.

The only thing that came to save Pakistan was that it was willing to become Part of NATO in case USSR would take Afghanistan. F-16's delivery was even before the US operated them making them the first priority however the F-15's would have been flown along the F-14's by the US Air-Force and US Navy in support to PAF F-16's. This is what Both USSR and INDIA did not want.

Today the threat no longer exists at-least in the case of Pakistan. China and Pakistan building train and road network to the warm waters and Russia not part of it is like a dead dream. So they are offering some thing else so that the dream becomes a reality without passing through Afghanistan. This is offending India and that is the reason they shifted to the West.

Yes whole india would be in shock in 2009 in predicted that Russia will be pakistan stategic partner and day by day we are coming to that destination at that time most of indian and few **** friends told me im mad this never going to happen due to india buys weapons from russia now russia dont care about it

Absolutely. This is the preparation for the joint operation by Russia & Pakistan to bomb Afghanistan like it is doing in Syria.

This would have been true in 2014. Indo-Russian relations went for a divorce around two years ago.

India is now strongly moving into western camp expects Russia to support Pakistan & China over India going forwarded.

This does surprise anyone in India any longer.

During the 1980's SSG and spetsnez may have been involved in a shadowy war when USSR invaded Afghanistan but now it seems that they are interacting in a friendly atmosphere. Times certainly have changed.

But When Russia and Pakistan is planing for exercise its like some miracle for Pakistanis .

In short what i mean here is the relationship of Pakistan with Russia is not even close to the type of relation India is devolping with China like it or not !

There is a correction to what you have said... In the 80's it was true but not today...Today the area which was once the Soviet Union is now Republics which are predominantly Muslim. So the Bear trying to enter Pakistan trough military drills and other deals is made possible by the Chinese investments in Russia and in Pakistan.

Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are part of CSTO grouping lead by Russia.

With Iran & Pakistan moving towards Russia, Russia could easily squeeze Afghanistan.

West would now have to rely on Turkey ==> Georgia ==> Azerbaijan ==> Turkmenistan ==> Afghanistan route to protect it's interests in Afghanistan

Russia and Iran today control the Caspian sea. That is missing piece of the puzzle for the west.
