Russia will Launch the First of Six Submarines for the Vietnam Navy

Russia needs to trade to change his poverty economic, and maintain the world big country of the deterrent effect

The Navy don't need to know everything about Viet's 'new' submarines to find out a way to handle it. Plus it takes years before Vietnam receive all of the 6 ships which cost them $2 billion and more years for them to be familiar with the ships. Navy is getting new models to replace old ones every year. I hardly see any serious threat from these Viet subs to the Navy.

That is if the submarines are equiped with the same electronics, which is unlikely. Much of the equipment that China has received from Russia has been specifically made for China, an example is SU-30's, they have many differences compared to other SU-30's. So if China knows the SU-30MKK it does not mean they know the capabilities of other varients.

We know all the challenges you mention above. Luckily we receive help from Russia and India on building a Submarine force. They will help us to speed up the learning process a bit.
