Poland has always been a target of both sides. Ironically Poland keeps an eye on Ukrainian territories while at same time Germany has its eyes on Poland.

NATO as a whole is a complete joke. They can't take on the lone Russia on the ground. We already know that neither side has complete air supremacy over each other, not even Russians tried to posses it in the first place. Keeping this in mind, NATO is fighting Russia on the ground and still fails to take Ukrainian territory back.

If USA intends to send F-16 to Ukraine as already promised, Russia with zero doubt will bomb the hell out of Poland and also all the routes that may be used to give Ukraine air superiority fighter jets.

NATO member states develop most advanced machines and weapon systems in the world.

Russia does not have the industrial capability and knowhow to develop machines and weapon systems that can meet NATO standards.

While Russia comes up with its own designs in weapon systems, it uses Western commerical-grade components to make them capable.

Russia is stronger than a number of NATO member states when compared separately due to sheer size of its armed forces and capacity to fight a war but NATO member states will cooperate with each other in times of need. Unity in strength.

USA is on another level in comparison to any country including Russia in all aspects of warfare. USA has plugged capability gaps of different NATO member states as well.

UK and Turkey - each is developing the industrial capability to fight a war, if necessary.

Ukraine is not NATO, not even close. Ukraine is but a test bed for NATO weapon systems. Ukraine is at the border of NATO, and it is giving very tough time to Russia in war. You can imagine the situation if an attempt is made to go deeper into Europe.

NATO cannot be challenged in its home turf through conventional means.

In times of the World War, Europe fell apart from within due to German rebellion. Otherwise, Finland alone was able to put up a fight against the mighty USSR all on its own. Poland fell because both Germany and USSR invaded it from different directions.

Soviet experience in Finland convinced Hitler that he could take his chances with USSR. But US and UK decided to support USSR in war against Germany. Hitler did not realize how American Lend Lease program will affect this war effort.

Some historians are idiots and do not analyze the World War in correct manner. These are Stalingrad poets.

Soviet sacrifices were tremendous and can be appreciated in their own right but a lot was happening outside Stalingrad that was far more impactful.

that is debatable . the atgm is fired in one or two second the f-16 is not always there , the Apachee can be interesting target for man pads and the lancet can be controlled from anywhere not necessarily from where it launched and the launch itself hardly can be noticed by anything

You are not talking about Poland being in peacetime and Wagner can push a few Lancet or ATGM inside Poland willy-nilly, once they did and target their infrastructure they would be on 24/7 stand-by alert. Being Poland and a NATO member, they would have the capability to monitor the entire country any time anywhere 24/7, this is exactly the same thing we did in Baghdad and K-stan. Once those missile are fired, whether or not you hit anything, Wagner ground team would need to exfil, unless you are saying they bring a few Mi-8 or Mi-24 along, they won't be able to exfil quicker than NATO put up, there are going to be first response with drone and fix wing flying over the area within minute, which those team would not be a few click off (or meter if they go by foot like you claim), they will literally target any vehicle and stop them within a reasonable reaction time, like how police are called into a scene.

We can track Iraqi throwing mortar into green zone, we can track Taliban shooting RPG into Bagram, do you think we can't track someone launching a drone attack??

On the other hand, where would those "Wagner" be hiding in Poland when they are not attacking? They can't hide within Poland and blend in as civilian, and with all those equipment, they are going to need to have a supply route to and from, back and forth between Poland and Belarus, otherwise whatever you do is only one off. Again, any NATO airborne surveillance asset would have been able to pick up any cross border activities when you try to do this, if they had not already done so. I mean, that is not Pakistan-Afghan border, Polish-Belarus border is very heavily monitored.

Ukraine had not prepared for war with Russia. This was apparent when Russia took Crimea in 2014 with laughs like yours.

Ukraine began to equip its army after 2014. But Western support was slow to come.

Much of the Europe was importing gas from Russia and didn't care about Ukraine. Russia was able to invade Ukraine proper in 2021, therefore.

Poland is taking its security seriously in comparison. Poland has created a professional army and is getting high quality hardware from US. Polish troops are trained as per NATO standards.

Belarus and Wagner are welcome to take their chances with Poland. I will grab my popcorn.

Poland is a significant line of defense to stop advances from the East.

Polish are also nationalist types. These people will fight.

Russian intervention in Syria is aimed to prevent downfall of Assad regime and help it defeat Syrian rebels. There is a tacit understanding between Russia and US on this matter since 2013. Russian mission in Syria does not stand in the way of US-led Operation Inherent Resolve in the region.

Wagner-led forces and US-led forces clashed just once in Syria in Khasham in 2018, this battle did not end well for Wagner-led forces. Further tensions were diplomatically averted.

Ukraine has lost only 50 Bradley’s through 2 months of fighting and half of those have been repaired.

This is not a high loss rate. That’s only 300 losses over a year. At that rate of loss, the US could supply Ukraine Bradley’s for the next 4-5 years without it ever effecting US Army readiness.
