You missed the news. The preparation for the offensive has begun. However not what many people had expected. Zelinskki and other Ukraine high ranking officials have made the hints how Ukraine will conduct the offensive. It will not be a frontal assault. At least at the beginning. Would be suicidal as Russia defense is too dense.

If they they go full charge they will get decimated by the Russians so it will be strategically coordinated with NATO, the goal being to inflict so much damage and pain to Russian forces so that they withdraw and surrender all their demands and dignity.
