Second hand jets are good enough. Ukraine needs the jets as bombers to either cluster bombs the Russian cowards hiding in trenches or shoot down their helos and bombers from the distance.

Other role is hunting Russian artillery. Ukraine don’t need F35s for these missions. Europe air forces will eventually acquire F35s they can donate all F16s.

I think Ukraine needs to get rid of the Russian aircrafts that harrass every Ukrainan aircraft taking off, so they would need fighters to protect their airspace as well.

USA knew ukraine would have to fight through mines and trenches. Without air support.

Why was this weapon, and the atacms not given to aid the ukrainians pro-actively?

Why is America being so chicken-shit about “worries on escalation” while russia is full on flattening cities, blowing up pipelines, shredding gas delivery contracts (unheard of during soviet time), causing niger and mali uprisings….and otherwise is over its neck in ukraine and hardly has anything conventional left (army is in tatters, troops getting pulled from finnish border).

Or is it strategic?
A longer drawn out war to deplete russia but also not cause to much instability in russian federation (the evil you know)?

What has Europe done? Care to criticize them at all? France? The list is long.

Europe has given more in total then the USA.
With a 20% smaller economy.
While having budgetted away much of their military stocks…as opposed to USA where its just sitting in the sierra desert.
As such it is sending much larger % of their military stock.

Usa:
135 out of 6500 Bradleys
31 out of 5000 Abrams
0 out of 12.000 combat aircraft.
Its small change. Peanuts for America.

Also lets not forget europe were always the “peace through trade” idealists with Russia.
While USA never stopped with the “red scare”. That is…until Russia actually attacked an european democratic ally of USA…then for the Republicans its time to throw that ally, and the rest of europe..under the bus.
