Do you read non Russian twitter? Holding the ground occurred probably 8 months ago. The tanks, cluster, storm shadows are teh only things part of the re-take effort.

None of this was needed to hold ground.

ANd Ukraine retake is only part of the equation. NATO is other goal (right or wrong) is to humiliate Russia: drone attacks on Moscow, get criminals to fight, then fire generals, and deal with a mutiny. That its doing without putting a single boot on the ground. You make it sound as if 57 countries have committed 90% of men and equipment to this war.

LIfe in the 57 countries is just moving as if its 2019.

Western journalists like protect their interests

NATO decided on a battle of attrition, battle of attrition needs artillery

NATO is running low on artillery and US production is too low

so they are fighting a war for which they are not equipped

which is why its taking 57 nations vs Russia to even try and hold the ground let alone re-take

Russia is producing more tanks more shells more artillery then rest of the Western armies combined

its production is ramping up and so NATO is always going to be playing catch up

They are using them as artillery pieces.

T-54/55 have 100mm rifled guns, they have lots of HE ammo for them.
So they removed the commander (4 man crew), down to driver+gunner+loader, and using them as mobile pieces of artillery.

All soviet tanks tended to have their secondary function for indirect fire.

I know about the first use in the Kharkiv area against stationary positions. But this same Col. Kulagin is quoted for the loss of two 152 mm, two 122 mm and two BTRs due to those strikes.

also a few days ago Kornet took out a Bradley IFV and they also used it take out a fixed comms tower so no shortage of missiles

image what would happen to the British Challenger and American M1 tanks if they were sent in place of the Leopard 2A6s

Lancet is Russian counterpart of Javelin. Kornet is Russian counterpart of TOW. Kornet is like HQ-9. TOW is like HJ-8.

I hear Challenger is too heavy for Ukrainian ground. Abrams might be too heavy too. Ukraine want Leopard 1 which is 46 tons which is suitable for Ukrainian ground.

Ukraine has become a failed state. Like Somalia. Here in Canada there are many Ukrainian refugees who fled Ukraine. A coworker of mine is from Odessa.

well Poland is full of them and no jobs for Polish in Poland now

so we have alot of Polish here in UK because Ukraine took their jobs

Ukrainians are very nice people they dint deserve this but their leader has no value for their lives and has basically thrown the nation under the Russian Steam Roller
