Only if the Ukrainian counter attack is a complete failure…do i see it might exchange crimea and nato admission for peace.

Russia demands way too much however. Especially considering their far from overpowering position in the ongoing war.

Those were the term they made up BEFORE the Russian winter offensive. End the war in exchange for Donbas and Crimea becoming Russia. That's why a lot of people, especially pro-Russian blogger is talking up about those term. Because they were supposed to take Vueledar and into the rest of Zaporizhya and probably taken all the way or at least threaten Kramatosk and Sloviansk.

It turns out none of these are achieved in this Russian offensive, instead they are being stuck at Bakhmut suffering heavy casualty. Those term were designed for a "Better Time" it should have but did not materialise, I don't know why they still talking about this I mean, if anything, the Russian line is weaken but not strengthen, and they would have a hard time fending off the Ukrainian counter offensive in a month to 6 weeks time, that is how long they have for the Russian to dig new line for their defence.
