It take 50 millions Soviet soldier and civilian and 3 other fronts that started by the Alliance of US, UK, France and Canada (North Africa, Italy and France) for SOVIET UNION, which Ukraine was part of, to get to Berlin. And also a single United States to prevent the Japanese to declare war on Soviet Union

Without the Alliance help and the 3 front the Allied had that Russia is no part of, there probably will not be a Soviet Union after 1949.

What Russia is a party to is totally irrelevant for war crimes committed in Ukraine as Ukraine has jurisdiction.
As everyone knows, Crimea and Donbass are legally part of Ukraine.
Russia is free to commit war crimes on its own territory.
Ukraine has agreed to give the ICC jurisdiction over war crimes in Ukraine before and can do it again - retroactively,
