Clever tactics of the Ukrainian army top. As long as the Russians have to keep sending troops to Bachmoet, the alleged major Russian offensive will not develop. Anyone you send to Bachmoet cannot be deployed elsewhere, so the battle there does have an adverse effect on their Special Military Operation.
I understand why Putin chose this name for the operation now.

Russia needs to adapt and evolve its strategies continiously depending on the weaknesses of current methods. Firstly tank and bmp armored assault was tried and faced with atgms and high losses. Now a different tactic is adopted with infantry waves but this is now faced with mini drones guiding anti personnel artillery causing high losses again. Maybe smaller vehicles like armored mini jeeps and armored quad bike atvs can be used for assaults resistant to artillery unless directly hit while moving which is difficult and smaller vehicles are more difficult to be targeted by atgms rpgs.

Also if the vehicles drive straight artillery is guided by mini drones to future estimated vehicle positions resulting direct hits. In ww2 the bombers changed direction say every 10 seconds so unguided aa guns miss the shots attacking their previous estimated future positions that takes about 10 seconds to reach the target. Ground vehicles should change driving direction every 5 or10 seconds so unguided artillery would miss direct hits.

Outside of artillery zone infantry can dismount from assault buggies and continue their sweeping operation closer to enemy trenches and vehicles can give fire support as well. Continious feedback and adaptation should be the norm even in smaller attempts to experiment on it and if it works the new strategy can be adopted widely.

This one below is a good adaptation for example. Instead of entering into contested territory full of manpads and Buks Ka 52 stays low and employs vikhr missile with its maximum range. If this strategy was adopted earlier many more helicopters would be intact and pilots would be alive now.

Bakhmut has been encircled pretty long time ago. Corridor left is under fire control
Any movements in and out is very risky

Bakhmut is major city with it's fall donesk region pretty much opens up

Where are HIMARS? We hear nothing these days. Neutralized or it's not a trending topic for media any more?
I don't follow individual event.....

That said, just a few keyword searches with "HIMARS" "Attack" "Russia" "Ukraine" on google and filter the result by date, it comes out with HIMARS usage news on both side

(Russia claim shot down 4 HIMARS missile in an attack 4 days ago)

This is older, 2 months ago

Other people like F22 or Vergenne may know more about its usage, as they follow individual event on twitter and Telegram

So you are saying Russia has to rely on 1/3 of world population need to buy cheap oil ..what does that mean???

You do know India and china consumes half of the world oil and that oil comes from Russia with noone else being able to replace it?

In other words even if Russia nukes ukriane they will still be able to sell oil as there is no spare oil outside Iran may be ..

Locals fault for supporting the war.
They could have easily showed a strong stance towards war..

The effect will last for decades since Europe will have to buy expensive gas now or turn back on coal
Russias oil export in 2021 - India was taking 2%. Even if India were taking the ~50% of russian oil export previously going to Europe, the oil previously going to India would just fill the gap.
The sanctions are not meant to block russian oil export, they are just meant to prevent Russia making money. India and China are buying russian oil at a huge discount for its refineries. Its a win-win for all of us, except Russia.
