Even crimea voted independence.

So no. It is not “just” for russia to take and keep crimea through force.
Over time a modest majority seemed to turn pro russian. Especially after russia migrated hundreds of thousands of russians to it (again far from “just”) . It is also vital for russian black see fleet and power projection.
As such. The west basically accepted the de facto annexation in 2014. Crimea for peace and trade.
However this was not enough for Putin. He tried to grab half ukraine and install a puppet.
If he loses this war of agression…how is it just that crimea (annexed land) is off the table for ukraine to liberate?

It is amazing to what kind of extent you are willing to go in order to deny historical facts, ground realities and paint Ukraine with the biggest "saintly" brush possible.
There is no genocide in Ukraine whatsoever. According to the UN no more than 10.000 civilians have died. This is a drop in the ocean compared to the US/West (that you are blindly following and whitewashing constantly) crimes in just 2 nations (Iraq and Afghanistan) let alone the other numerous/dozens of illegal invasions.
If you want to talk about legality, the whole concept of Ukraine's modern-day borders are a joke and fake. As I already wrote. All of Eastern and Southern Ukraine is Russian territory built brick by brick by Russia (Imperial Russia) and USSR. All main cities, all the industry etc. Everything is built by Russia. Even the names of the towns and cities are Russian. West Ukraine is all Polish and later more recently Austria-Hungary. Ukraine's borders were literally drawn by Stalin/USSR. The same Stalin that stole Polish, Hungarian, Russian etc. territories to create Ukraine. Without asking any locals and without conducting any votes.
Zelenskiyy himself has gone against the Ukrainian constitution 100's of times by now. Banning Orthodox Church communities in communion with Moscow since centuries, banning pro-Russian or non-anti Russian parties, removing Russian as an official language etc. So don't go there.
Oh, and it is funny, as a German you should know that your country and countrymen committed actual genocide in Ukraine (Russia too btw) killing millions of people in the process and burning down 1000's of villages and destroying 100's of towns.
The same Germany was the biggest Russian lapdog/partner in the EU/Europe until recently. You had to be shamed publicly for months by Ukraine to start donating military equipment to Ukraine and doing your part. Nordstream etc. Schröder etc. Not a word about that from you.
BTW if Russia is committing "genocide" in Ukraine, the same Ukraine post Euromaiden was committing genocide in Donbas for 8 + years. With Nazis such as the Azov Ballation, Right Sector, UPA fanboys etc. in action.

A lot of WW2 was just revenge and self defence. Yeah you wont learn that at school, but tis true.
This bandera guy spent time in a German concentration camp. From what I figure he was a ukranian nationalist. Good for him. After what his people went through. they needed someone like him.
For WW2 standards, he doesnt seem that bad at all. Unless you've killed over 1 million people in WW2, you dont even make the leaderboard sadly.
I have no love for cossacks. But Ukraine needs strong nationalism to survive this crap it's going through. So their nationalism needs to be encouraged and used to regain their country.
There is nothing worse for the world than an expanded russia. That would be a very big problem and it will never be allowed to happen. As you can see.

What is more, "Oryx" tallies of Russian equipment purportedly lost do not prove much. Given that Russia and Ukraine to a large extent have been using the same types of weapons, nothing would be easier for Kievan regime forces to photograph destroyed assets of their own and publicly pass them off as Russian.
