Russia-Ukraine War - News and Developments PART 2

It is worse. They were executed for "waging against God." As if it falls on the Iranian regime to protect the interests of God on earth.

That's no different from Russian Orthodox Jihad narrative against Ukraine.
no , but it fall under the government duty to punish the ones who killed others or used weapons to attack peoples who had no intrest in the protest

and your link contain wrong info , no 12 death sentence were given and certainly none for rapp songs , in fact most of the people who were made posts on twitter were released months ago , only the one who incited violence are kept and even they are being released

From Chinese pov a russian defeat would be a disaster for them.. they have no choice but to back putin with everything.. If china was to allow putin to get strong armed this will be extremely bad for them in the long term china has to go for broke here and there is no alternatives for them geo-politically
That is what you say but so far China has only given Russia “warm words of brotherhood” and buys up oil and gas at sharp discount price.

Making themselves an enemy of The West at this time is clearly not worth it.
Trade with west in 10 times that with russia.
Also a weakened russia, (but a nuclear buffer) completely dependant on China. Selling its resources at dump prices…is not a bad thing

It won’t happen. Why should they do it? Ukraine army will not withdraw from a position unless they run out of ammo or largely decimated. In Soledar they ran out of artillery and ammo. The situation at Bakhmut is stable. Supplies of artillery, ammo and troops into the city are working.
the problem is not that , if they stay there by what the situation is progressing , they may be trapped there if they not with draw and Ukraine army is not ready for a counter attack there

The problem Ukraine facing is Russia’s overwhelming firewall. Putin’s invasion army has ammo on massive scale. The Russians probably have prepared this war for 10 years. Otherwise nobody can explain why they have such huge stocks. At some point Ukraine army has to retreat.

Ukraine needs to break out from the stalemate. Now thing becomes interesting: this morning Poland has officially ask Germany for permission to delivery of leopards 2 to Ukraine.

If Germany agrees today, leopards 2 will roll towards Ukraine tomorrow.

now there is no talk about Russia ran out of ammo ,
the answer is a lot simpler than that from each 10 shell or bomb Russia throw at Ukraine probably 9 of them belong to USSR

Russia inherited enormous stocks of munitions from the old Soviet USSR

Well you still have to train to use them, a normal tanker course is anywhere between 13-15 weeks, you are talking about probably around 10 weeks if they are going to shorten it.

I would say Ukraine will get around 200 Leo 2, there are reports that German and allies can make that number to 300 max. Tha's still 15% of European Leo 2 stock. And I would imagine US gave similar number of M1 Abrams probably sometime in March. That would be enough to arm 5 Armour Brigade. I have no doubt the Ukrainian is eyeing on Svatove front and Melitopol/Mariupol front once they formed that 5 Armour Brigade.

Ukraine won't really stop Russian in Bakhmut, there are no strategic value in that town, as I said many times before, even Bakhmut is lost completely, that does not mean the Russian are going to be able to threaten Kramatorsk and Sloviansk. Because again, a city that big, you can't just attack with one single approach. Ukraine is using Bakhmut to grind the Russian away, the latest intel suggested that Ukraine have put 6 new Brigade in the area, they have 14 or more freed up after they took Kherson, so either those other 8 brigade is depleted, which is unlikely because Kherson surrendered without a fight, or the Ukrainian is deliberately withholding them for future use. Either they are using them to fend off the upcoming Russian offensive, or they are holdback to preserve their strength for Ukrainian own upcoming offensive.

If they are tank crews already, then all they need to know is the specifics of the tank. They know what to aim at, how to drive, how to communicate. Just leaves the loader to train. They should be fine. and the logistics behind the tank is the key factor.

Yes enormous for WW3, but even mountains of ammo will run out at some point. the Russians now run factories 24/7, they buy ammo from North Korea, Iran, Belarus, probably Cuba as well. The Cubans will do they are desperate for oil, gas from Russia.

That’s good. That will put pressure on Germany.

I realize Abrams have the same 120mm cannon from leopards 2. They can run in tandem. Win win.
