So you see if there would be peace-treaties shortly after ww2 in europe and Japan/asia, then there would never be NATO or warsaw pact. And all the shit what happened out of this is cause of the US, which dont want peace.trieties but to attack Russia. Cause Russia also had managed to build bomb, but wasnt under controll of US. It would take times and spare parts to do that, you may as well ask the US to refeb all their M-60 in US stock and send them to Ukraine. Also, would Jordan give up all those tanks is another issue.

M1 Abrams are a short term solution, US can spare 200 of those out of their 1500+ reserve stock. At the end of the day, if the west wanted Ukraine to stay independent, they would need to look forward to what after Russian invasion, then we need to either gift or sell them large quantity of older reserve tank in real number like 500 or 1000 to make it worthwhile. But you can't do that within like a year.

No offence. But M60 is junk these days. Can a 105mm gun-penetrate the Armour on what is left of Russias tanks? The M60 was a good tank 40 years ago , bu it would need newer armour piercing rounds. Are there depleted uranium rounds for a 105mm gun?

Nah, you of course don't send them stock M60 Patton.....That's why I said it will take a year to refeb those old tanks.

If US are going to do it (Not saying that they will, I am saying if they would have) then they would most likely upgrade to either M60-2000 standard or SLEP standard, both uses reactive armour with 120mm guns, M60-2000 uses the same M256 gun in Abrams and SLEP uses L11 IIRC.
