Russia Close to Sign Su-35 Fighter Deal With China

China only has the J-11 series and J-15 that resembles the flanker family, while the rests don't.

Have you seen the difference between J-20 and T-50? China doesn't really want to copy Russia, but J-11 is just for the convenience sake.
They don't just resemble, they were reverse engineered. Everytime, we have sold you something, you guys have come out with a cheap copy of it in no time.
And for the diff. between J20 and Pak-fa. Well you cannot copy what you don't have. Plus there isn't really much inside the aircraft right now to take anyway.

J-15 developed from the Ukrainian T-10K and J-11B is developed from J-11A (Su-27SK upgrade) with the indigenous engine and avionics.

Russia once offered us the deal of PAK FA, but we refused it, instead we want to build our own 5th gen aircraft.

J-11B and J-15 are built with our own domestic tech we added.

Yeah sure. Whatever you call it mate- developed, upgraded, added. It doesn't change the facts. And the fact is that you guys shamelessly copy our tech and and label it as developed indigenously. I really don't care.
BTW please get a source for your last claim.

If we purchase some Su-35 it is just for some political reason.

Just like how we vetoed for Syria, since we have no core interest in Syria.

Seriously i doubt Russia could even deliver these planes to us by 2020, the 4 billion is like a gift to them to pledge an alliance.

Really? Is that the best you can come up with?

No, we don't need 117S or AKA AL-31 on steroid.

Our WS-10BIII already has superior performance compared to it.

I doubt you have anything to back that claim with. And are you comparing a production engine to some future project?

Well, obviously we won't buy any Su-35, so better to leave that topic alone.

The Chinese Chengdu J-10 fighter is based heavily on the cancelled Israeli Lavi fighter demonstrator, the Shenyang J-11 is a replica of the Su-30 Flanker-C, and the Chinese/Pakistani Chengdu FC-1 uses Russian engines and other technology from the MiG-29. The J-15 is a Chinese-built derivate of the Sukhoi T-10K-3, a carrier-borne fighter prototype which China acquired from Ukraine.:D
The Su-35, powered by two 117S engines with thrust vectoring, combines high maneuverability and the capability to effectively engage several air targets simultaneously using both guided and unguided missiles and weapon systems.
The aircraft has been touted as "4++ generation using fifth-generation technology."

Inaccurate information.

I thought, someone say JF-17 is based on Lavi fighter designer.

That's right. There's very little inside the PAK-FA. The J-20 was confirmed to be tested over 70 times in the past year, each test documented by a camera. No one knows if it was tested more or at night, because only 70 times were taken by a camera. Likewise, there are very few videos of PAK-FA tests, and no one really knows how much it has been tested. We can only go by the developer's word.

The J-11B is not a copy of the Su-27. For one, it doesn't use vacuum tube electronics, and instead uses solid state ones. For two, it doesn't use 1950's CRT displays, but rather liquid crystal. For three, it doesn't have the annoying problem of losing radar track on all but one plane after it launches a missile.

The J-15 and J-11B incorporate no Flanker technology besides the airframe design. Everything else, from the radar to the engines to the composites to the weapons, are designed in China.

PLA will not purchase anymore Russian planes. In fact PLA probably won't even purchase Russian engines in the next few years.

This has almost nothing to do with the performance of Russian planes. Has more to do with keeping the same set of maintenance and electronic system.

If this news is true...Then it is clear failure of J10, J11, JF17 and J20...Chinese must lock their mouth...If still they are defending ...then they are nothing but sameless...
