IF there were any kill switches in those aircraft it'd be discovered that way

All I said was if there was a kill switch, which is possible, they'd still have to trigger it in some means of communication. Once we discovered such a thing we'd strip off all communication devices on the plane and it'd be safe to fly.

I think they never gave us the code for the f16. We used our mission computer with own software for the old block30 f16.

I think the source codes became less important once Turkeys mission computers reached that stage. giving the source code is a "show" to those who doesn't understand that we don't need the source codes as badly as in the past.

I hope that we will build our own engine because until we do we'll be dependant on those countries who can. I think any kind would do, Pakistans, Ukraines, Swedens, Britains, etc. the point is not to build the best engine first time you try, but rather gain the experience enough to hyperspacejump 50 years or more into the present.

We only applied the national mission computers on block 30ies because the rest of the F16 fleet was getting the CCIP upgrade. We did get the source codes we couldn't integrate our own avionics without them.

We won't need source codes on F35 to integrate our own stuff because F35 will come with plug & play functionality.
