Turkey opens flag at AUSA



Turkey opened flag at USAs one of the most important event AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition where US Army decides for acquisition. Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM), Defence and Aerospace Industry Exporters Association organized the visit where Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation, Defence Technologies Engineering and Trade company ( STM), Milsoft, Sarslmaz, Gate Electroncis opened an joint booth. Roketsan opened another booth to exhibit its productions. This is the last day of AUSA. ​

Anti-Tank family of missiles are as following;

UMTAS-ER: Spike NLOS equivalent
UMTAS: Hellfire equivalent
OMTAS: TOW equivalent to be used with own tripod above fixed or stationary platforms.
KMTAS: Javelin equivalent to be used by single soldier


L-UMTAS: Lazer guided UMTAS. Helicopter pilot should enlighten the target by lazer until UMTAS find it.
IIR-UMTAS: Infrared UMTAS. Fire/Forget or Fire/Update UMTAS. Pilot just fire the missile and immediately does evasive action, While UMTAS does everything to destroy the target. Pilot just watches MFD to see Wheather UMTAS finds the target or not.
