USA, Europe and other Western countries have a direct interest in preventing the territorial growth of China. West has a stake and a physical interest in preventing the expansion of China's borders. And it has nothing to do with rivalry or ideological war nor does it have anything to do with Western people's love for Tibet etc. These notions are superficial bullshit. The real reason why all Western leaders would take personal interest and would literally lose sleep thinking about India-China tensions is explained below.

China's actual population is multiple times the officially stated figure and it is growing exponentially. China's real population is already at least 6 times that of the next most populous country. And this staggeringly high population is spilling not only outside it's borders but all over the world. Wherever you see, you will see Chinese. Be it in China's neighborhood like Singapore (my friend had been to ground zero of Singapore), be it my own little sleepy town in interiors of India, be it Pakistan, be it facebook pictures in USA, be it Africa, be it Eastern Russia where Chinese marry Russian women and so on. No wonder China has border disputes with most, if not all, of it's neighbors.

If China is allowed to expand, someday Chinese may end up on Western shores seeking refuge in developed countries due to mismatch in Chinese population and Chinese material resources. Due to shortage of resources, the Chinese race may try to occupy Western countries if their population is unchecked. The population of sparsely populated Arab countries is giving West a nightmare (Reference Arab refugee crises). Imagine what the super dense population of China can do. The technologically advanced countries of USA and Europe would intervene in India-China conflict to keep the Chinese populace confined inside China's borders.

This fear of West is forbidding China from attacking India. In behind-the-scene diplomacy, Indians have been blackmailing China about this dirty secret of China's real population number. Indians have been telling to Chinese, "Back off or else we will tell Uncle Sam that your large population can be a threat to West merely due to it's flabbergastingly high numbers and then the technologically superior West will nuke you."

article is bull sh it. western world is worried about losing it influence and power to chinese growing potential and trade. Plus side is chinese have matured and have good military industry. going to war and losing ten million wont affect chinese it helps with population reduction, pariotism and medals to be given to soldiers. This probably strenghen chinese governmnet. This will be a test for china to see if thier sodiers are up for the task since china not really had heavy war for long time.

The assumptions mentioned in the post are very wrong...I mean

firstly it mentions that west knows that China population numbers are much higher then projected ...n india blackmails China by saying oh..don't attack us..otherwise we will tell West,what it already knows??? how logical is that???

Secondly..China has disputes only on border areas..like tibet..Arunachel pardesh etc..and these are very tiny pieces of land....n China has always mentioned only these areas as point of conflicts/concerns regarding india...China has never expressed any will to capture any indian territory...China would be rather interested in capturing Vietnam..than any of indian territory..as it has some historical n cultural background linked with China..india does not has such link.

Thirdly China itself is quite a large piece of land...I was wacthing a documentary by an indian analyst regarding CEPEC...in which he mentioned that China's 95% of population lives along the south China sea side..and this area is approximately less than half of China's territory and is quite developed...the rest of area is underpopulated (The area starting from borders with Pakistan and india)only 5% of people live in there. So what China wants through CEPEC is to develop this area and conduct trade activities via this area..which will release the pressure of any adventure by USA-Japan-India in SCS.
So when you have such a vast diversity and free land available in your own territory..why would you try to capture others land?/ send refugees to other countries??

The point is simple west does not fear such conspiracy theories..west fears competition..which China has given them..i will say look at your own country india..its probably the biggest consumer market of China..even all the disputes....why is that bcoz of relatively affordable goods made by china...what west fears is that..may be someday west becomes a consumer market of CHINA too...the way china is making each and every thing at relatively lower prices and quality is getting better by every day.
Its all about who gets the biggest share of production and hence profit. who is the controlling state and who is dependent.

You are presuming that the popular notions of China's projected population and population distribution are true. It isn't so. The figures of 7.2 billions (1.2 multiplied by 6) stated in OP are just conservative estimates. The real population of China may be as high as 8-9 billions.
