Now China can offer more high salary jobs. More talents will come back for sure. By the way, do you think any Indian who visited China will say India will surpass China because Indians are more competent than Chinese. If not, why do you believe India will replace China?

You know it's a faulty comparison. Japan and China are two very different countries with very different strengths and weaknesses. What didn't work for Japan may not necessarily replicate with China.

Professional freedom is bullshit. As I said at #25, it's all about money. US colleges have enough money to support more researches and hire prestigious professors. That's all. Gulf countries don't have industries to test research results and turn them into money. Gulf colleges are isolated islands. Bound to fail.
