So for that why blaming the Bangalis?
No we don't blame all Bengalis but we simply don't respect Bengalis like @BDforever who are either ignorant or besides knowing the truth still open such threads try to degrade Pakistan .
what,s the matter of proud @BDforever have in opening such threads by the way ?
Still hated by Indians for being muslims and not respected by Pakistan for being traitors .Oh yeah but you got Bangladesh  Poor Bengalis are the victims after 1971 who are still getting killed and kicked out by Indians .

I am not asking for soft corners but simply to move on. Bengalis never wanted to stay with the West Pakistan, right from the very beginning. It was already evident when they rejected Urdu and demanded Bengali to be opted as the national language of Pakistan. Quid-e-Azam should have awarded them full autonomy right then for it would have saved countless lives.

If it had not happened in 1971, it'd have happened five years form that, or ten years, but it had to happen. I have no regrets for them parted, I regret for how they parted.
ok sir! I agree but still india,s sponsored mukhti bahni terrorists played a major role and they took advantage and worsened things further .And people like BDforever should open such threads on PDF for flaming .

I agree with you. India had major role to play but then what do you expect from an enemy? There were dozens of different ways to part from Pakistan but Bengalis opted for the most disgraceful option, shaking hand with the common enemy, the same enemy against which they had struggled just 24 years ago. But then nationalism is always like this, one gets blind in hate and does things that are beyond imagination.

Actually you were/are racist. If you were not racist, you would have accepted Urdu as the national language and not demanded for Bengali to be the national language. Bengal was just one of the many provinces of Pakistan, and not THE Pakistan. I am glad we are done with you, now move on.

Agreed. As Anatol Leivin put it

"No freak of history like unted Pakistan, its ethnically and culturally very different wings seperated by 1000 miles of hostile India, could possible have lasted for long ... The tragedy is not that it failed, but that a situation made for a civilized divorce should instead have ended in horrible bloodshed". (Pakistan: A Hard Country)

you said only Urdu will be state language when population wise we were majority, sounds fair ? again you are making mistake, you are saying that bengal was one of many provinces of Pakistan but you are forgetting that Bengalis were 2 millions more than rest of Pakistan combined population. It would be ok if urdu and Bangla both were state languages. and yes i am very happy that we are seperate :D

Be rational.

That foolish and racial demand was neither accepted then (by none other than the father of the nation), nor was it ever made later, otherwise Punjabi would be declared as the national language. It was not about how many were Bengalis and if others were less but about the diversity of the cultures and languages. We needed one language that was not the mother tongue of any ethnicity yet understood by all, and it was/is only one language, Urdu. Racist Bengalis did not get it then, nor do we expect them to understand it now.

dude there is absolutely nothing wrong in what Bangladeshis did, they wanted a country & got it, everybody has a right to have his/her country the rule here is whoever can gets it, is right & who cannot is wrong .plain & simple, this is Real politic, here the rules is Victory & not morality , think about would you like to be an Indian instead of a Pakistani ? how would you feel, if someone said you did wrong by making your country, just like you can have Pakistan .the Indians can have India so do the Bangladeshis can have Bangladesh , disgraceful is only if you fail to have your country , but if you get your country then that Dignity , get real my friend, this is politics . here the rule is "Might is Right" , & the principle is simple, to each, according to his might !

Bullshit ....Pakistan too have different ethnicities but pathans did not demand Pashto, sindhis did not demand sindhi as a national language why you Bengalis demand Bengali ?? I don,t blame all Bengalis but it,s was a indian game who with help of some traitors like yourself ignited the fire of Bengali nationalism .
