As a Hindu I find that persons such as Swami Ramdev who want to popularise yoga etc are indeed committing an unnecessary act. Yoga is indeed a Hindu spiritual act and without the mantras such as "OM" it is really pointless pursuing yoga. The movements of facing the east and paying penance to the sun is all important in the body purification process. I accordingly support the fatwa against yoga and hope that Muslims will refrain from practising a Hindu spiritual act as imo it does go against the teachings of Islam. I will likewise be offended if I was asked to perform namaaz at my sathsang or next temple prayer.
I however plan on taking Swami Ramdev's mission one step further. I plan on personally exhibiting and teaching women the important steps depicted in a very important book of Indian origin. Unlike Swami Ramdev, my services will be free and I am certain universally accepted. That book is called the Kama Sutra and involves much more bodily exercises than the yoga moves. Watch the internet for postings of my worldwide mission to promote these various exercises
