Why is France not willing to sell?
Those French tried to play dirty with Pakistan and now they got some of it back.
I really wish French fail to sell single Rafael and that would be end of French fighter a/c industry.
They are doomed.

You are right and they in future might not be able to get any orders from foreign customers. Although Brazil has shown interest in it but i hope Su-30MKK3 or Su-35BM or even MiG-35 will gain that deal coz its cost effective and much cost effective in maintaining the aircraft over the period of time.....

Guys i think MIG35 is much better then rafale in all aspects......Rafale is good fighter but its price makes it too unattractive...and lemme tell u 1 thing...if u google and surf the net to get information abt UAE and Iran u will learn then their disbute is not so big or complecated which can take them to war. their disbute can be settled with talks...so i wish they will never go against each other..we muslims are already under pressure this is the last thing on earth the 1 could imagine

I am only seeing Iranian MRBMs & IRBMs firing on West not on the Muslim side. lolz for west and its failing policies and i have heard many times about the alligation that has been opposed by some Media reports that Saudi Arabia has allowed Israel to use their air space for attacking in Iranian Nuclear site and ARY news was the channel that showed that news and i truely say that Saudi Arabia will never allow this dirty thing to cross its beautiful border.

Usa and west dnt let Uae to setup a local production plant, they just advise them to built sky scrapres , Uae can go for Jv in defence with countries like China, turkey , pakistan , saudi arabia , i read some where on internet that UAE requested Pakistan to send Paf pilots for flying their desert Falcon's.

well rafale is not that good fighter jet as EF and others i think with F 16 UAE airforce is fine but if they want they can ask KSA Kuwait who needs also fighter jets invest in the fighter jet project these three countries together as they dont have any financial probleums and they can buy three jet of the money of rafale as good as EF and also get profits if they sell it and most importantly it is their jet whenever they want they can make it no need to request others and wait

firstly IF EVER the UAE go to war with IRAN! they won't be alone the whole NATO & US and the "ALLIES" will come along just like in desert storm!

so yes this drama of oh UAE might go to war is nothing but just a hoax! never will the UAE strike iran nor iran will risk attacking UAE!

UAE has economic interests by not going to war & iran has seen what happened to iraq it will not go to war!!

UAE already was in talks for the THAAD 2 years back as far as I can remember a famous article. The deal was at $7 billion for a complete air defense system against ballistic missiles.

They're a rich country with no important threat and lots of money to spend even after their population is well-fed and happy. So they go to the West and get best weapons, train in reputed academies like Sandhurst etc etc.

If UAE takes the offer, it'd be a huge first step for the French. But somehow for a seller that desperate for a first export, Dassault showed very little enthusiasm in promoting the Rafale for MRCA as well as Brazil.
