The pilot says and i quote " Ive never flown a Typhoon "...that should be enough

but the pilot said rafale can perform any mission, and thats actually true......typhoon has many DIFFERENT variants for specific roles...

MY brother was there in dubai airshow 09....he said rafale is better than typhoon....as he is commercial pilot n in airshow he sit in typhoon while it was at ground.............But HE SAw the maneuvers himself during the airshow...............i have got the pics but unable to upload them...........n French didnt even let any one to sit in rafael's cockpit.....n about F-22.....he said ....USAF DINT EVEN LANDED IT ON THE AIRPORT ON WHICH THE AIR SHOW WAS GOING ON...... InStead they LaNDEd n Takeoff FroM DA Runway In SoME other City!!!

Fighter jets can ultimately be judged in wars, that could somehoe conclude the real wortj of an aircraft
so untill we saw both in action we cant determine for sure

PAF and IAF both are using french aircrafts, if france is pitching its aircraft against typhoon and calling it better, i will believe them.

IAF is testing both but that wont determine which one is better rather it will tell hich is "better for india"

not an expert , just sharing my views

u are correct , personally i believe that iaf will choose rafale , since it is a better ground attack fighter , and they dont need another air superiority fighter , with su30mki in induction followed by pakfa in 2018

I personally like Raffale than typhoon..i hope i could see PAF pilots flying this Aircraft,but i am worried that whoz gonna pay for it

They just got a deal of 126 Rafale's,they don't want to loose a bigger market for 10 or max 20 Rafael's to Pakistan..

I don think France will sell Rafale to you any more...U have option like any Chinese fighter, US Fighter , Gripen, and Euro fighter.

Simulations conducted by British Aerospace and the British Defense Research Agency compared the effectiveness of the F-15C, Rafale, EF-2000, and F-22 against the Russian Su-35 armed with active radar missiles similar to the AIM-120 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM). The Rafale achieved a 1:1 kill ratio (1 Su-35 destroyed for each Rafale lost). The EF-2000 kill ratio was 4.5:1 while the F-22 achieved a ratio of 10:1. In stark contrast was the F-15C, losing 1.3 Eagles for each Su-35 destroyed.

Although the above simulation results are not of Typhoon vs. Rafale but a correlation can be made by considering their simulation results against Su-35.

The tests were conducted by british ..... So obviously it must be for sales pitch rather than study ....If we want to compare the two fighters correctly , we should look at the fighter evaluations done by other air forces where Rafale defeats Typhoon in allmost all parmeters....
