What's new

'Race' is a biological myth.

Men have been the dominant species/gender for so long, the world as we know it is a consequence of decisions taken by men. Wars, nations, customs, laws, punishments, history, present and what not is a direct manifestation of male psyche as they were written and applied by us. We gave the world a lot in technology, science and what not but also gave the world, slavery, genocides, colonisation, two world wars and endless conflict. It reflects its strengths, weaknesses, biases and what not. The world is a messed up place because there are too many men making all of the important decisions. We are hunters and gatherers, our fighting instinct hasn't properly been civilized yet. In my opinion, what the world needs the most today is to introduce females into the upper echelons of power, globally and in their rightful demographic portion. Decisions made by a balanced gender group will be much more robust and less violent.

I agree with what you said, @Horus, Sir. Most of the wars throughout human history have been driven by male leaders. All of these great Kings, Emperors of old eg, Nebuchadnezzar, Xerxes, Darius, Cyrus, Ramses, Sethi, Alexander, Julius Caesar, Babur, Genghis Khan, Chengis Khan, Oda Nobunaga, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Qin Shi Huang, Montezuma, etc, etc.

But female leaders? A rarity...

Good theory but I think that the qualities you are describing as part of the make psyche i.e. aggression, ambition and protective instinct etc are not just part of the male psyche but of the human psyche. They are however more pronounced in males. However one should remember that males tend to occupy roles that not only require those qualities but enhance them. Since males possessed an advantage in terms of these qualities they evolved to fit those roles that required them better. That is why fields like politics and leadership are dominated by men. Put a female in the same role and she will probably display the same qualities. Thus we have a human problem and not a male one.
Since the rise of feminism in the West more roles that were traditionally filled by men are now being filled by women. Has the world improved ? I don't really think so.

Thatcher and the Falkland War, Golda Meir, and Indira Ghandi all come to mind as women who lead their nations into war. But in general it is more difficult to find such example and more than easy to find men leading a nation into conflict.

These three are good examples. Perhaps more are needed. I could list some female leaders that helped bring some kind of prosperity to their respective nations: there was Benazir Bhutto of Pakistan, there was also Corazon Aquino of the Philippines, there was also Megawati Sukarnoputri of Indonesia.

Sadly no female political leaders in Japan, I don't think there was in China (yet), in Russia, why not even in the United States, too.

Sir, one nation that showed to the rest of the world of how a woman can be an effective leader is no other than Pakistan's own Madam Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. You have no idea how she is studied in political science courses here in the United States, why even in some courses that I teach in psychology, we discuss her examplary role of participatory leadership. I admire how she emphasized deregulation of the economy, the denationalization of state owned corporations in Pakistan and allowing capitalism and market economics to take root. I also admire how she, a woman, was able to survive some coups. Even in her last years, she ran for election despite knowing the threats to her person, still she ran anyways. She lived and died for Pakistan.

I cannot think of a greater example of how a female leader can live and die for her beloved country.

She remains a role model for us all.

Sir I did not say that women can't make good leaders...I simply stated that more women in leadership roles would not make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things. As long as we are human we will face human problems...conflict being chief of them.

its not a biological term, does not mean races do not exist(as an concept of an identifier)...
for example you might want to say ..german shepherd are different of dog from pomeranian... (even though they are same species).
We seem to confuse racial discrimination with existance of race.

.
The word race in Turkish langauge is not genetic. When we say race in Turkish we mean culture and the people in that society.

.
People of different race have different "Skulls"

In a experiment I saw on youtube they took a skull of black man , White man and Asian man , and they differed on the shape

They also stated that police when it tries to identify the race of skull found in desert or open area they follow similar tests ...

It made be think

I think one of the skulls when it was put face down , it stayed due to flat shape , while others did not they were round

And African skull was more less had different nose socket size and jaw structure

I think people do differ due to race , due to political correctness they don't discuss it but the
way of viewing the planet is different race by race

Also from behavior respective

Blacks
Whites
Asians

Sorta differ in their mind set

hmm how about these babies any idea what these are?

The entire skulls are not different...just the facial bones. These variations occur in every person irrespective of race. They are what give us our different faces.

. .
No no ... people have different skulls , watch video big difference
Brother he is talking about the facial bones which lie on the front of the skull...the zygomatic, nasal, mandibular and maxillary bones. These are diverse in different people. However the cranial capacities are the same in all races. If anyone tells you any different the they are lying racists. Trust me I'm a med student.

In modern Western societies, women have an almost equal share in power directly or indirectly, be it government or corporate sector. And yet Western countries have waged wars and polluted the planet.

On a lighter note, I googled "what if women ruled the world" and was not disappointed,
If-women-ruled-the-world-there-would-be-no-wars.jpg

Thank you for bringing this up. Only an observant with a scholarly mind will think so. Let me ask you a question. What was the portion of females in their cabinets and both houses of parliaments at their respective tenures?

You can also name Benazir Bhutto -- she created the Taliban.

I can relate to that. The race as a genetic phenomenon is pure bullshit. All humans have the same ancestry and have the same DNA source.
