the European Union does not consider the Seville map to be a legally binding document

Actually, Greece, EU and USA never talked OFFICIALY for the map of the University of Seville.
Greece and EU speak for EEZ according UNCLOS.
The issue of the map of Seville is being recycled by the Turkish political system, in order to cover Turkey's refusal to go to the international court of The Hague or Hamburg, and of course the legislation of the UNCLOS which gives the right to an EEZ to the Greek islands.

UNCLOS does not allow any country to unilaterally create a fait accompli. You even have not yet read the articles of which you are a signatory.

The mentioned limits are also the 'maximum limits' applicable to the high seas and mutual agreement is essential.

There are many concepts in maritime law, it is an immoral attitude to accept some and reject some, and to talk about law only on issues that are imposed. First of all, Greece is not an archipelago state. However, in their official thesis they claims archipelago rights as mainland state.

I even tried to read a few pages and couldn't understand what was being discussed. Is the EEZ being discussed, the continental shelf and territorial waters, or the legal status of some islands under the binding of international agreements? And what does this have to do with this topic?

As per the Turkish defense sources QEAF 36 Rafales and 250 personnel will be placed at various Turkish bases for the next 5 years. They will also train the Turkish pilots on these jets.

Now, the Turkish engineers and tacticians will dissect the capabilities of these jets like the way med students do to the human bodies. And, the countermeasures will be implemented in the EW routines.

Even for Paks to fly Turk Vipers, they have to be allowed by the US DoD approvals.

Might be a unique case for the Turks.

@Raider 21 I watched the video and it was interesting. However,I think its very optimistic as to the advantages they think they will gain by training and getting to know the Rafale a bit. And also as to developing EW countermeasures for it.

The guy is even hopeful that Qatar could intervene and fight against a NATO and EU member country,which also happens to have a long friendship and trade ties with Qatar,in case of war.

What is also weird,like @Akritas pointed out,is that supposedly the Qataris will station their entire Rafale fleet in Turkey. That really is ridiculous.
