Thats because the total Requirement of Mi17V5 stands at 170-240 Depending upon sources, Till now 139 have already been ordered out of which 110+ Have been delivered
We dont need a production line just to induct another 60-100 Mi17V5

However IAF and Army have a combined requirement for 440 LUH, a role which will be fulfilled by KA226T
