Shouldnt media be the ones held responsible whom they are showing and propagating? They should show floods and IDPs ....

Do you know it was NS who refused aid from overseas....He said in his speech IDP is internal problem and we will sort it out...Many overseas Pakistani didnt know about it except those who were told from home....coz no news covered this internal problem....Even the Pakistani embassy in London didnt make any awareness campaigns...or the usual donations they collect was also not done for IDPs....

There is a difference between GDP and money in banks, also this statement is of Swiss bank president and according to their policy they mostly don't announce the name of their customers or amount they have but I have heard that they are changing the policy now after USA approached them.

And here is financial ministry's own assessment on how much Pakistani money is stashed in Switzerland's banks:
Pakistani Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has cited figures from Swiss government and banking officials that claim Pakistanis have illegally stashed some $200 billion in Swiss bank accounts.

Dar said in a written reply to the National Assembly on May 9 that "one of the directors of Credit Suisse AG stated on the record that $97 billion dollars' worth of Pakistani capital was deposited only in his bank."

Dar also wrote to the Pakistani parliament that former Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey said the total amount of Pakistani money hidden in Swiss bank accounts is some $200 billion.

Dar said in his statement the problem needs to be addressed immediately and noted that Pakistan's external debt is some $150 billion.

Corruption and tax evasion are major problems for Pakistan.
