What's new

PTI's Azadi March 14th August 2014 l Updates and debate.

As is evident from the last few pages, the immaturity, hypocrisy and arrogance of the dharnists is amusing, blatant and breathtaking, respectively.

When it come to proven facts that speak badly of IK, they seek refuge in finer points of law. But they do not allow the use of the same finer points of law to absolve NS of crimes in Pakistan's jurisdiction.

When it comes to ISI and Army, they want the courts to be moved to provide incontrovertible proof. But they do not recognize the same courts when they are asked to use them to prove their own allegations against the government.

Having your cake and eating it too takes on new meaning with such antics. :D

Such approaches may make for good theater, but they have no moral or legal standing and will remain useless.

Lets not set double standards here, it's hypocrisy in itself.

No one can beat PMLN hence government when it comes to immaturity, hypocrisy and arrogance. Even the opposition that stood by NS have now started saying this.

@Nickelback recognizing PTI's efforts for a true revolution. :)

Lollywood actress Meera has expressed interest in marrying Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, according to a Samaa TV report.

“Imran Khan is a very good looking man,” said the iconic Lollywood actress, while revealing that she would love to see Imran become the prime minister in ‘Naya Pakistan’.

“If he ever asked me to marry him, I would most definitely accept the offer,” said Meera, while speaking with reporters in Dubai.

Not only did she speak of marrying the PTI chief but also spoke of Imran’s possible wedding attire, suggesting he wear a sherwani by Riaz Ganji.

In a recent speech to his supporters in Islamabad, the PTI chief declared his intention to get married as soon as ‘Naya Pakistan’ comes into being.

Interestingly, the Lollywood star also went head to head with PTI chief Imran Khan in thegeneral elections of 2013. The actress ran against Imran on a National Assembly seat in Lahore on a ticket from a relatively unknown party formed by lawyers. The PTI chief ended up losing that seat, not to Meera, but to PML-N candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

Suicidal moment for IK :suicide:

@Leader :omghaha:

IK might have his motives for what he's doing but what he's doing needs to be done, if not by him than by us. The system in its current form not only fails to protect the rights of the masses but subjugates them. This system has been wired to keep those on top, there. On the contrary, a common man is slapped in his face in every facet of life and reminded that he doesn't have the money, connections or power to get things done. He, in fact is insulted and mocked for being honest, for even trying to live with the idea that he's entitled to live a decent life without being humiliated.

I wish I could say that the evolutionary democratic process will weed out the defects but I'll be lying. The next generations of current politicians are ready to rule us and what makes you think that they won't make sure their sons inherit this country. These ppl can only be defeated if the system/processes/institutions are strong and I don't know when will be the next time a politician spends 3 weeks on the streets for that. I am an optimist and love my country but I really do feel that the current system, if not fixed will eventually run Pakistan into the ground. It might not be today, tomorrow or in our lifetimes but it will happen.
