They all say the same thing ..until they have too!!..considering not long ago Pakistani army chief was also claiming the same thing..so what's new?

Imran Khan is untested. He never came into government so maybe he will do it. So far all his promises have been fulfilled and he was the only person against this war OF terror from the very beginning.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that his party will free the nation from US slavery and US drones would be shot down. He was addressing a huge public rally in Swabi on Friday. He said those in power should be embarrassed about the ongoing drone attacks that violate Pakistan’s sovereignty and kill innocent people. Khan said the PTI will not let US attack Pakistan via drone strikes and will shoot their drones down.

A Pakistani leader serves according to the wishes of the Pakistani people. There is probably 99.99% support to not only shoot down the drones but to attack Afghanistan if the attacking continues.

The same shooting down of drones was also claimed by the present PPP leaders during their election compain and before getting into power. But what happened now? nothing...This is simply clear now that all politicians are nothing but a bunch of liars and traitors...Imran Khan belongs to the same category....everybody is hungry for power. ......

Why such a complex, dude? Here's the idea:

- You are having issues in US WOT.
- You are playing with the double-edged sword.
- If your civilian or military leaders provoke US in such a terse situation, you'd see OBL style raids and drone attacks intensified tenfold daily.

So where do we come into picture? In fact, US and you fighting would only benefit us even more. Even then we are recommending a constructive alternative to you. Like a patient who refuses to drink bitter medicine for the taste of it, you are taking this as a poison rather than an alternative path.

What complex?
I was merely pointing out how silly little Indians think that Pakistan doesn't have the ability to stand on its own two feet.
You people live in this fantasy world where Pakistan is like Mordor from Lord of the ring and India is the Shire (the place where Frodo lives).

Imran Khan will have a mutifaceted approach to dealing with America, he has said that he will first try a diplomatic settlement, including guaranteeing that no terrorist will be find safety in the FATA area. He will also deal will the Pakistani Taliban by negotiation and reconciliation.

If America still insists on murdering innocent people after this then he will have no choice but to take military action.

All that he has said is perfectly reasonable.

Are you seriously comparing PTI with PPP?

And if IK wanted power he could of had it in 96 when Nawaz offered him 20 seats, and then again in 02 when Musharaff offered him PM position.

Simple facts state that IK is not in it for power, but to help his motherland. Unlike all the other parties.

'Pakistan Air Force will shoot down drones once PTI is in power - Imran Khan promises' would have been a better title.

Anyways, PAF has total ability and capacity to shoot down the drones. Only government has pressurized them not to act.

the drone that was in iran is different from a reaper than haunts the fata areas....that drone was for reconaissance which can be done by other methods too....but hunting terrorists in fata..that requires a reaper and try shooting one and you will see what the bad side of usaf is....

Election promises have to be taken with a pinch of salt, If the politicians managed to fulfill even 10% of their pre-election promises/election manifesto, India would have been different in infrastructure. Also lets wait for the first drone to be shot down by PTI and then lets judge the reaction from the US.

You do not need to shoot down at all, just deny permission to operate it.

He said he will not allow any militants to operate from his country, which is enough....then there will be no drones flying over.
