Many who were protesting peacefully have been shot from within the crowd by the hooligans who have hijacked the peaceful protests and turned it into a political protest. People hijacking peaceful protests in Iran is nothing new. It happens all the time. But this time the difference is many of them are heavily armed. I don’t remember ever seeing heavily armed rioters in in Iran post Islamic republic.
